The templates are inspired by real models of modern planes and ships with a bit of personal touch. All models have animated elements like weapons, engines and turrets. I tried to maintain a good level of quality, trying to cure small details, such as visible fighters on carriers and tanks for planet invasion transports.

A few small translation weaknesses, but I'm saying that first because this is extremely promising. The factions are believable and unique, and the ships so far [23rd Dec 2015] look awesome!
I'm going to follow the thread and download at a quite late version, keep it up.
I am not sure if I buy the idea of the European Union existing as a united faction. I hate getting all political but things aren't exactly going well in Europe with anti-EU far-right parties growing left and right. In my opinion one out of two things will happen in the future regarding the EU:
1. They accept that individual EU nations don't want too much EU control and start easing on their control, allowing individual EU states more sovereignty for the sake of keeping the union stable.
2. The EU elite will continue hoarding power until EU members get fed up with it and leave.
In either case, there won't be any united EU super state.
I also can't suspend disbelieve at the idea of a new Soviet Union in space. The idea is just too silly to take seriously. I could buy the idea of some kind of Eastern Union made up of nations like Russia and China however.
To be honest I find the whole idea of individual nation states existing as galactic powers to be dumb. Colonizing space is too big a task for single nations even for superpowers like the US. It's why I feel the only believable factions you made are the last 3.
I'm really sorry for all this time without news but my old hard disk crashed and unfortunately I lost most of the models and parts that I made.
Now with the new pc I recovered the factions and some design, but I have practically to start over the beginning.

Initially when the hard disk left me, I really thought of abandoning all; hours and hours of sessions lost in a BSoD. As I said, fortunately I had uploaded to steam almost all models of the EU faction, but costum parts like weapons and engines are all lost.
A couple of factions already have a "faction design" so I think to finish them using only core parts. Other factions are completely to be drawn so most probably I will use new parts in future.
