Something missing from Start10 from my Windows 7 menu is the automatic height adjusting that happens when you have lots of pinned shortcuts. I can't see more than 14 with Modern Style, or 17.5 with Windows 7 Style. The new Windows 10 start menu lets you manually resize the width and height; that would work too if possible.
I typically have an average of 24 or more shortcuts pinned to the start menu. If this is a bug, then please fix, otherwise could I make this a feature request please?
Have you altered the setting in Start10 to say how much space should be reserved for icons?
It should be able to resize up until it fills the entire height of the screen based on that.
Ok, so that worked by INCREASING the number for "Allocate room for at least ## large icons" under Style > Configure.
The default of 10 was not enough and reducing it to 0 had no change either. Had to increase it to 15 or more raised the height of the start menu.
I am having the same problem as Genopsyde. Also, size 9 is larger than 10 for me. And each time I make a change to the number, the menu either overlaps the task bar, or leaves a big gap in between the taskbar and menu.
Close and reopen the menu and it should reposition correctly
Okay, I didn't realize it was just a little glitch that happens only after configuring the start menu. I have to say I love how everything else is designed and functioning.
