I often see that the AI votes contradictory to it's ideology, power or otherwise affiliations. The way they vote seems almost arbitrary. The most recent event in memory is when the Iconian Refuge, the most powerful Benevolent voted for Krynn Syndicate to be head of U.P, even though they are at war and hate each other. I voted for the Iconians, thinking they would vote for themselves, and thus win, but alas. They've been good to me, despite I'm being Pragmatic...
Speaking of Benevolent, how come Altarian Resistance always be so war-like? Since when did zealotry become defined benevolent?
Its listed as "Neutral Evil" in the Player's Handbook.Another fun one is "decolonize", which means "return to original inhabitants", except when Stardock uses it, in which case, it means "to commit genocide".
In my current game, the Iconians had gotten voted to host the UP, giving them a 50% bonus to influence.
Next time around, as the head of the UP, I voted to repeal their hosting. They voted to repeal their own bonus.
