fantastic wallpaper JuniorCrook.....do you remember where you got it and could possibly share?
Thank you neone6! I appreciate it.
You will have to be more specific because I posted more than one shot. I won't be able to share it but I can probably do a search and find a download link for you.
Nice one Jim!
Yes that is a perfect with Valiant RedneckDude. Great shot with a great blind. Running a similar set up now.
Thanks Chasbo! let's see yours!
Standing on the rim of Mt Vesuvius.... from blues skies, suddenly weather moved in and cloud mingled with the steam being let off from the volcano's interior... a lovely mystical feel...to say nothing of...chilly...

walking through Rome & throughout Italy... huge wooden, metal, beautiful arched doors hide the secrets of quaint courtyards down mysterious walkways leading to hidden, private apartments.....

Humungous rustic door in the Piazza del Popolo just near the northern gates in the Aurelian Wall in Rome.... a beautiful place just below the Borghese Gardens...

Helios at the Colosseum...
Gorgeous shot Syd! I lived close to there in the early 1970's for 2 and a half years. Loved it!
Thanks Tom... lucky you!!
It is a fabulous city... fell in love with it and the people... I could easily live there for a year or two... so much to discover...We stayed very centrally....barely 10 mins walk to the Vatican.
went to the Colosseum 3 times... there is a lovely Trattoria up the steps on the road above, behind it... first day we went there for a quick beer and a bottle o' wine... and sitting in the sunshine overlooking the Colosseum and Palatine Hill...was just too good... thick veggie soup and crusty bread...we never made it to tour the inside...had to come back again next day...much to the amusement of the waiters at the Trattoria... 'cause had to go and do some 'study' of the view again before we went inside.. then went back again the day before we left....wonderful place just to sit and soak in the atmosphere...
the old viewed through the ancient...
