Replaces the Anomalies and greatly increases their diversity and coolness!Replaces all Mercenaries from the BazaarReplaces the Mines and Bazaar modelsReplaces the Pirate models and grants them a few starting ships!Adds additional Abilities!Adds additional Starting Ship Combos! KNOWN ISSUES and USE1) If you use this mod for your own ships/races/etc. a brief credit to this mod is appreciated. 2) Turn ship-trails off, I use engines as parts in turrets and hulls, it can be distracting.3) If you experience performance issues, it is most likely the result of the heavy use of animations in any/all of my ship models, or otherwise GC3's general issues. If you experience issues, I recommend either playing with less total races, less races utilizing the ship sets, or otherwise upgrading your PC. 4) Under no circumstances may you upload any of these ship designs or factions to Steam.THANK YOUPlease reach out and report any glitches/bugs, any ships with clipping or other issues. Also it would be great, if you end up adding to the designs using the custom components, for you to share them with the community! Please credit the mod if you do!Special thanks to: Horemvore for his helpful attitude and Diplomacy UI mod!R3bel02 for one of his logos. JP193 for submitting a design via the contest. Thanks for reading, and stay tuned for more!

They should be overwritten by the ones provided with GRM.
I was doing that. For some reason they were being overwritten by the game when I was Verifying the game files.
Yeah they will
Hi Gauntlet I was wondering you said you stopped working on this thinking of loading your mod in is this mod compatible with the new game version.
4.9 is compatible with the new version. What Gauntlet said he has stopped working on is GSM.
Thank you
@ Gauntlet, I was wondering if you have setup your GRM factions to hate each other in the FactionDefs.xml?
No I haven't its on my to-do list... but I dislike modifying the race files beyond the in-game methods.
Feel free, if you want, to take the ShipBlueprints.xml file from AI Tweaks, it is not perfect but does a far better job than the default one.
Hey Gauntlet,
I would like to use one of your shipsets in my Star Trek mod, its the one that starts with LE_. It fits my Iconian race (its pretty close to the look of thier ships).
Proper Accreditation, would be my request and assurance that at no point would you upload the ships to Steam. In the event that SD supports ACTUAL mods on Steam, most likely then, at that point, it would be fine.
Full credits will be given ofc. And I do not do steam workshop(bad experiences with civ 5). Probably not even when or if SD supports full Mods on steam in the future. Thanx alot though for your permission, much appreciated!
Awesome, enjoy!
Slowly getting back to work on GRM.
Just wrapped up 5 new replacements for T3 Mercs.
Going to see about replacing/renaming some custom components now.
Cool. I lost my monitor on my desk top gaming rig so I haven't been playing for the last couple of days.
Gauntlet03,
Remember this issue?

I have my own mod and your mode in my GCIII games and both custom races are suffering from this situation. I think I figured out what is going on (your theory is correct)... and I have a way to fix this issue... However it will be A LOT of work... let me know if you want to discuss this a little..
By all means we can discuss here... I just might not be too hard working on the issue right now lol. Kinda on hiatus until a new version of GC or the stand-alone (ish) thing comes out...
Its a lot of work..... basically you have to arm *ALL* of your ship with some weapons and save it as custom ships, then use the custom ships and save it as template.... Use the new template as in your custom race xml file. the default ships (using this new template) will be able to mount/use weapons
OK, but will the AI place components in those spots VISIBLY or does it simply use those spots for points of animation/firing?
and do you need one of each weapon type or, tons?
Hey guys! Quick update for you via You Tube!
TLDR (watch)
1) Making a mass-effect Geth inspired shipset.
2) More cleanup/more mercs.
3) A tutorial on how to "rename" a custom part.
Thanks! Also look for the new Fallout 4 vid I'm uploading if interested.
Nice Ships as always gauntlet. when watching the vid. I got the impression of a insect look to them. I also have been taking a break from Gal civ. looking forward to your next vid.
Hey Gauntlet, is there any way to opt out of using your minor races while still using your mod? I am wanting to try a game that uses the mod that puts the Star Trek minor races in in place of the originals.
Hey guys.
Just so you know, the current version of GRM seems compatible thus far with V1.9 of GC3. Hurray!
@krbjms
Horemvore has a significant thread going on using both GRM and his awesome Star Trek mod at the same time. I don't think the minor races actually interfere with each other, so you might be good to go.
If you want to remove GRM minors, go to the My Games directory, find your mods folder, go to GRM, then "game" folder. Take out the file called 0-GRM FactionDefs.xml
You can always add minor races by using a file like the above. SO if Horemvore used such a method the files will be compatible. The incompatibility would occur if both mods have a file called FactionDefs.xml
WHICH I DO, for the sake of replacing the Pirates and removing the original minor races. That is in the GRM-PRT/Game folder, and you can also try removing that file. That will result in all GC3 original races losing GRM ability traits notably... but you probably don't care about that.
Good luck!
PS: You can likely ensure compatibility by following my instructions for removing GRM-A and GRM-PRT in the "how to use optional files" readme in the GRM installation file.
I cant see a clash with the minors(GRM Adds minors, I remove the defaults an replace with ST ones), I do beleive I even saw a minor GRM race in the test games I did with the compatability files I made for GRM + GST. No GRM - PRT though, just GRM/GRM-M I tried to make compatible.
Thanks Gauntlet, I am not using the Star Trek mod, just a mod off of Nexus for the minor races. It's not that they clash, it's just that I want them as my only minor races. I use your major races and about 60 others (mine and others from the workshop), but not GRM-A (personal choice, caused some difficulty for me awhile back). I also like your mercenaries and pirates in my game . I saw how you had set it in your optional folder for having both the games minor races and yours, and that's what I am currently working with. Thanks again.
