The first post-launch patch for Galactic Civilizations III is now available on an opt-in basis. This patch enables custom races in multiplayer and fixes various data bugs and crashes.

This is great and all but my buddies still can't see imported custom 1920x1080 pixel leader foreground/background and imported 128x128 leader profile picture and custom faction emblem in multiplayer. All of these show fine in singleplayer and I can see them fine on myself in multiplayer despite my buddies saying that they can only see "X" marks.
I am at least glad that that I can show off my custom designed ships but please make it so that in multiplayer games to share the data/pictures of the My Games/GalCiv3/Factions folder between players so that they can all see our wonderful imported custom alien leader, not to mention Captain Picard, Darth Vader,ect...
Would it be possible to squeeze in a fix for the faction/fleet power ratings?
Given the numerous reports I think we can consider that as a confirmed bug, and one that can have pretty bad effects on the game.
Have been playing single player for a few hours, no problems with the opt-in so far.

I cannot start a multi player game with custom factions. It crashes at the custom ships part of the launch. Help, please, help.
