Just stress tested the diplomacy feature and I found out that I can trade for all the planets, techs, ships, credits, and treaty from the AI using the weekly payment feature (i.e. 999999 credit per week) and then breaking the treaty immediately. Surprisingly, I did not suffer from any repercussion for doing so. Not even a condemnation from the AI.
Secondly, by using the bug above, the AI is down to their homeplanet only. I then rushed a shipyard at the planet next to their homeplanet (i.e. Mars), then a transport, and then invade their homeplanet. The AI is therefore eliminated before the turn end. But, on the next turn, the AI will prompt for peace even though they are already eliminated. It doesn't matter whether I accept the offer or not, since a CTD will occur at some point after the prompt. I suspect that the game is still treating the AI as still alive even though they are already eliminated.
I managed to win the game though by invading all four down-to-one-planet AI at the same turn though. If I pressed continue game at the victory screen, the prompt for peace will still occur and the CTD will occur soon.
Thanks for testing that feature, any save files are always appreciated!

That is awesome! This is what Beta is for!
I've already submitted a ticket for the issue. The ticket number is #FQR-555-26654. I'm sorry if I've caused any duplicate ticket though. I've refreshed the support page 2 or 3 times before noticing an upload progress on the lower left hand corner.
I've added another relevant issue in the ticket though. The autosave that was generated after the CTD above occured could not be loaded, essentially corrupting the autosave file. So, I've uploaded the the failed autosave file as well.
Btw, can I delete those .dmp files in the C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Galactic Civilizations III\ folder? I have dozens of dmp files totaling about 3GB in size generated since I keep on loading the before-invasion save file and then keep on crashing my game. There's also another 1GB+ of dmp files from older patch. Since the dmp files are so huge (80MB+ ~ 100MB+ each), wouldn't it better to overwrite the dmp file?
Thank you for submitting the tickets and for the sake of your hard-drive space please feel free to exterminate any and all old dmp files.
Thanks and noted.
Still wish that the game keep only a single/few dmp files max. It would be bad for a SSD user if every game create a few GB of unused dmp files. Do consider it.
I hope this is considered a bug. This would ruin the game for me. A possible solution is not to let players make deals that they can't afford or make them honor their deals.
Good Job doing that.
