I play alot multiplayer now and I keep lose to illums. They low-tier and have cheap crystal cost. I try counter with vette but prog eats and poops them. I try counter with lrm but lums have strong back beam. I try counter with flak but ppl kick me from lobby when I use. Please help me think advent is too strong. Smash nerf hammer on silly advent women.
Use mirrors. It reflects the beams back at them.
Or flak. They can fire on all sides and do ok damage against long range frigates. They're also the most OP unit in the game so it's always a safe bet to use them...

Why would you build flak when you can just build gardas? They are both the same tier, but gardas are cheaper....
