I used your 1920x1080 screen files but come across the problem of all the screens around the edges are cutoff using the large screen scale option.
Are we expected to use the small ui option for your 1920x1080 screen files?
Yes. I need to make a note about that in the user guide.

Hi,
Starting a new game with new patch but had a question not sure if it's related to mods. Could you read the post I started.
Combat delay before casting prebattle autocast abilities
Did more testing and seems like it depends on which sovereign I pick to start the game. Like the denezins Lord VI will cause the delay every combat but Kulan won't and I think probably all the original sovereigns and factions. Like Verga doesn't. My last 2 games that I've had delays in have been with sovereigns I created myself. One with angels and one with denezins.
I just created a new sovereign from Altar #K faction with same abilities I picked with one I created for Denezins faction and the Altar one has 0 delay at start of battle in casting those automatic prebattle abilities but the denezins sovereign will delay every combat for 5 to 10 seconds before doing them. Not sure what's causing it. If it's the Primeval Elemental but I doubt it cause one I created with Angels faction delays as well.
On a different note though I installed alot of those UI options you have that I could use on my 1280*1024 monitor and makes a huge difference. Really like being able to see 10 buildings on my cities and figured out I could use the 1380 unit details files with my monitor and looks good without any spill over into equipment page.
Thanks for the reply, the small screen ui is unuseable though as the text is so tiny on large screens you have to strain to read it.
Did you make the screens before Stardock released the large screen scaling option?

Yep, most screens were created in the first two years of the mod so before the 2.0 release, 2 years ago (and obviously before the even more recent 2.1 version). Can you post a screenshot, I have no way of seeing what this looks like; only have access to a few different laptops here.
You could look into changing the fonts (file: FontSwap.ini in your FELH folder), but that used to not work that well because text boxes used to be static; might be different w/ the new scaling option.
One thing to remember is none of the new screens are essential except I suppose, the UnitDetailsWnd screen. Also, in some cases there's multiple versions (resolutions) of the same screen available, so you might be able to use some lower resolution screens that would scale differently? See, generally, the subfolders that start w/ XW_ in XtraDeconstruct folder.

Not sure. I just thought I'd test it to see how it looked since it was only 100 off and it looks perfectly normal to me. Better even than original. I don't know if i'm missing any but I see 6 columns * 6 rows of stats all fit perfectly above the History / Equipment header. Original vanilla had some spillover across the header for me.

Thanks for quick fix! There may be other's causing the delay issue. Cause my angel sovereign I created had a slight delay as well last game. I can send you my one save I still have of that game right before I won if you want it. When I tested the premade angel for a few turns I didn't notice the delay.
If I install the new patch to test out sovereigns I should still be able to play my current game I started ? I'd rather not start over again and I just created a sovereign without the delay issue so not a problem at the moment.
You would be missing on the sides if you were missing anything, like say a column of traits on the left side. If you post a screenshot I can check, but if you say it looks normal, I suppose this means it would have been resized by the new scaling option.
Angels looked normal in the few tests I did, but if you post a saved game, I will have a look. Also, although that's more a Band-Aid than a fix (if it turns out to be needing a fix), you can use faster tactical speed (2x or 5x) which would likely help a bit.
New patch will only apply to new games, current games will still be playable w/o any changes.
Well I just tested my old savegame. It's not the angel per say but a mix of 4 hero's mixed with a Pox creature that autocast mass fear at start. Would the animation fix pertain to the Pox as well since it seems like it's same type creature and animation.
I tested a few turns with Lord VI sovereign and definately seems much faster.
Here is my old save file with angel sovereign army. You only can do 1 battle before it ends game as diplomatic victory. It probably has alot to do with the Pox in army.

As you can see the edges are cut off & the hero model isn't even showing so this suggests your screens don't work properly with scaling.
Also doesn't matter which of your size options are used all your screens seem to be scaled up to the same size.
In any case, with the small ui your 1920x1080 screens are so small on large screens that your smaller than 1920x1080 sizes are just unreadable.
Ahhh, I see. Yes, the Pox creature is a Death Demon, like the Denizens Faction. Unfortunately, the fix I uploaded only fixes the modded Death Demons (Denizens Faction). Thought the problem was a mod problem only, but it appears it's also found in the base game core files (Well the problem isn't w/ the XML, it's w/ the animation, so I should have realized it would plague core creatures as well). I will see what I can do to fix the core files SuperDemonAnimationPack. Will probably end up being easier to just assign a modded animation pack to these non-faction Death Demons (There's a few of them spread in various files). Probably won't be fix for a week or two for sure.

I see what they did for larger UI - and It appears their code is not very flexible - so thanks for that. I would need to create a whole new set of DXPACK files to make use of the larger scaling option (Which I would do blindly given they don't unlock for my display: I use the small scaling 1920x1080 on a 17"). At any rate, I will not create a new set of DXPACK files... There's a few possibilities for you, I would try #3 first:
1. Find DesktopX software somewhere (Stardock doesn't distribute it anymore) and create some UI screens for yourself (and others if you want to share them). If you don't go above 768 pixels in height, you should be able to use the larger scale UI, as far as I can guess from the screenshots;
2. Delete X_UnitStatsDetails.xml as explained in FAQ #12 in A_UserGuide.txt and use the normal UnitDetailsWnd (1024x768) found in XW_UnitDetailsWnd w/ larger UI scaling. Will fix the spillover and you will be able to use the large scaling option; or
3. Use Windows Magnifier. In Windows 10 (and likely in other iterations), you can bring it up in-game w/ Windows Logo Key + Plus (+). If you go to "Views" dropdown menu and switch to Lens view (the one I prefer) or Docked view, it does feel like a decent tool. You can also resize the magnifier box in settings to cover the whole stats section. (Click images to enlarge)

Hello there! For starters this mod is excellent and thank you for your hard work. I am new at Fallen enchantress and i am currently in the middle of a play-through where i am using this mod along with the black market bazaar mod. I am facing a problem where an enemy faction called Cult of Neikvaed #E (cultists) , declared war on me and then they cast a spell named [s] Wither on my explorer unit. After that my game crashes.I deleted the explorer and the game still crashes after. Is there something i am missing? I am new at this so any help will be appreciated! Many thanks.
EDIT: I am an idiot i didnt see that River bridge and snaking mods are incompatible maybe these are causing the issue. ( They are the only other mods i use with this one) .
EDIT 2 : Removing those 2 mods didnt help. Game still crashes :c
Not sure if those mods caused your problems, but if they did, removing them later doesn't help with current saved games. Once the game is saved all the relevant mod info is already stored with the save game itself. That is just the way FE:LH works. (and I believe most if not all Stardock games) You will need to start a new game to find out if that solved your problem.
