Yes yes, I know what everybody will say:"Its going to take up so much processing power"
Thats why you have a graphics menu where you can disable stuff. But having persistent debris in a gravity field can be pretty fun to see, scrolling over to a planet you conquered, only to see the engines and a hull skeleton from a Kol Battleship that you destroyed.
But, save it for when Sins 2 gets moved to a front burner.
As long as you understand that its a dream.
But a good dream. Would love to see the remains of an Advent Radiance Battleship as a trophy in my grav(e) well.
I would love to see ship husk flying around the gravity well, but what would be even more epic is that the husk would actually provide a strategic advantage of some sort, per say somebody can easily hide a few weapons on a enemy battleship or space station husk or the advent to use the husk as telekinetic throwing weapons as a indirect secondary weapon.
Maybe somebody can actually use a space station husk as a undercover weapons platform, it may not be as strong but it could provide a hidden layer of defense that wouldn't reveal itself till the enemy would actually fly by it.
A cool thing in Homeworld 2 was large ships that were destroyed sometimes left behind wrecks that you could 'salvage' for resources.

"Now witness the firepower of this fully armed and operational battle station!"
"And now, your highness, we will discuss the location of your hidden rebel base... "
