I love the Christmas holiday season. I have quite a collection of Christmas music I listen to during December, but I have a hard time saying which one is my absolute favorite.
I guess if I had to pick one it would be Frosty the Snowman. I don't know now, I have too many I like.
If you listen to holiday music, do you have a favorite?
Just to many favorites to mention.
Most songs sung by Bing Crosby would probably make my list. Just brings me way back.
Decades of the same songs over and over have ruined Christmas music for me, but I am still quite particular for the Carol of the Bells..
Always brings a tear to my eye...

Guess I should have viewed Winnihym's link first.
Oh Holy Night is the fave carol, sung seriously... but, I must say, when Cartman sings it... cracks me up...
Oh wow I've never seen that before. Soo good, thank you. Amazing show.
@RND & Picard
I can't recall.
My daughter, she has been walking around singing 'The Twelve Days of Christmas' all week and..it's all I have in my head.
She doesn't know it very well.
She's good until day 5 then it all starts to fall apart.
She has to keep asking me what day for which gift and how many and where was I....
And she keeps singing it.
Especially in the morning...before my pain medicine has kicked in...and she is so loud.
I used to sing well.
Her mother has a beautiful voice.
But Journey....
I don't know, it must have something to do with where ever the red hair came from or something...
She sounds like f-ing Bob Dylan.
'On the FIRST day Ooof CHRIStmasss,....my TRUE LOove BRINGS to MEeeeee...'
Every day for a week.
I shake my pain med bottle and contemplate and extra dose as she comes down the hall ..
'FIVE GooOOOldennnnn RINGSSSSSSsss!'
20 more days of this? 20.
Then I see that commercial for the Ronco ear cleaner and how much damage you can do with a q-tip...
Yes. Yes, I know it would be painful. I KNOW.
But 20 more days. ....
We argued during her bath tonight over the fact that it's 12 drummers drumming NOT 12 pipers piping. I had to Google it for her and she still says I am wrong. The INTERNET is wrong. It's all wrong.
I'm wrong.
Tomorrow she will tell me it's the 15 days of Christmas and start making up things like '14 mermaids splashing' or '13 Fairies flying' .....
I don't see my pain doctor again until the 26th. The 26th!!! That's TOO LATE, people!!!!!!!!!! It's TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I like a whole lot of holiday music especially singing many arrangements... but I do like this arrangement of 12 days of christmas done by a few mathematicians...
Gas House Gangs version of "Mary Did You Know" (Love the barbershop music, unaltered singing at its finest)
There are plenty of others that I like (Oh Holy Night, Carol of the Bells) (Enjoy singing these ones)
One of my other favorites...
None of these are musically doctored by editors, they sound like this live.
When a child is born by Johnny Mathis. Silent Night is a classic though. And there are obviously many more, some of them already mentioned in this thread.
Auld Lang Syne...... 'cos that means it's all over for another year and I can get back to normal life!!!! (Bah Humbug!!)
I'm sorry but this will never get old...
Mel Torme The Christmas Song
@ DP... LMAO!
My newest Christmas Holiday song, Robert Earl Keen's "Merry Christmas From The Family"
An oldie-but-goodie Royal Guardsman's "Snoopy vs. Red Baron *Christmas Bells*"
And this one cracks me up every time, even after almost 30 years -- Joseph Spence's "Santy Claus Is Coming To Town"
that is precious....
This has always been a favorite.
My favs
Long time favs:
Snoopy red baron Xmas bells (@nick-danger)
Mel Tormae - Xmas song. (@Philly0381)
a new fav?
@DP cloud Hilarious, Reverently traditional style. Visual: Trinity of Icthus fish on left, adorning the tree, is wonderful comedic touch.
@redneckdude Let it snow = make it so. WOW.. love it.
Just thought of another good one - yet another one few of you know, or understand anything of.
I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra very much! They remake classic Christmas songs with a wonderful touch of metal:
I wouldn't belittle anyone for liking TSO, but I dread this time of year and hearing the commercials and ticket give aways for TSO. I love metal, and classical music is great, I just do not like the fusion of the two. At all.
But of course, that is purely personal, so please don't take that as an attack thinking I'm saying it sucks. It just ain't my thang!!
