I've always had tons of respect for Stardock but that has just diminished big time. This is a world of undead for Christ's sake. Do you really expect us to equip Warlord Verga, Magnar, Lord Markin etc. with bunny slippers and a giant lollipop. Shame on you for including items that belong in games for the under twelves. The person whose idea this was needs to stop taking the magic mushrooms or resign and go to work for Big Fish Games
I have to agree. Though I can appreciate some breaks in the immersion (like the summoned wolf named Anna), the slippers and lollipop were IMHO too much out-of-line and ill fitting. I want Stardock to adopt an internal no-magic-mushroom-policy!!
Is it possible to make a mod rename those two items?
Edit: forgot to mention that I love FE-LH and generally think Stardock employees are doing a great job! The above complain is just a minor thing in the big picture. Good work on the whole!
How do you know if the loot pack is installed? Does the game upgrade to version 1.32?
Look in the Legendary Heroes\Data\English directory for the XML files starting with "DLC03".
I think they're fun. I've got this mental image of Ceresa using cruel spells and a vicious, green-blowing blade dripping venom to dispatch some rampaging fiend then, demons and elementals at her back, striding to the iron-bound treasure chest, blowing it open with a word of power, to find: bunny slippers.
Bet there'd be some howling in Hades after that one.
I think of it has something to adapt to.
Like I said in another thread my life pursuit will be to kill any Hero wearing it. It's out of principal. If I have an alliance with that avatar I will break it just to make a point.
Honestly, this is easy to mod. If you really don't like the extra content, just change it.
You are going to make a point to an AI? I don't think they'll notice mate.
are these the only joke items in the loot pack? I don't want to have to mod out dozens of items.
Correct the remaining 31 items are serious.
cool, thanks.
The Devs were probably playing Ragnarok Online and got carried away
The two items can be removed with a simple mod file from http://fallenenchantress.nexusmods.com/mods/1881.
I wouldlike to add that the Blood God Armor which sounded very cool is absurdly bad.
Values of the Blood God Armor:
It gives ok armor value, but a negetative Inititive on top of its special effect which is pretty bland. The shoes double all Blood God Armor damage (do nothing if you only have those), the Armor allows you to damage all units around yourself and yourself for a meekly 8 damage, the handcuffs do whenever you attack 2 damage to both attacker and defender, and the helm does 2 damage to anybody attacking you and 1 damage to yourself.
Now concerning the use of these special attributes: You die faster! Thats it. The little damage to your enemies doesn't matter, but to your champion it may matter a lot if he is tanking the enemy army. You also, with the exception of the armor, cannot control if it should do this damage or not.
To me this armor is totally worthless. I'd rather equip the Spectral Lether Armor because it does not give negative Initiative.
Maybe if the armor would give initiative rather than take it (because you are swimming in blood and thus are faster) I would use it.
To me it only says: "Do not use me, I will kill you!"
