Hey as the title already says im looking for a new camera... I just came back from my holiday and noticed how blurry my pictures got i have a old fujicam digital that is about 7 years old.It was quite expansive when i bought it and i think it is time for something new sadly when i zoom far out everything will get pixelated an blurry.Im interested in buying a single lens reflex camera SLR or DSLR but "not a pro cam" rather a beginners cam.We have great stores here in Germany but sadly they want you to buy the most expansive thing and will tell you that the rest is inferior and useless.I would ask my Dad but he is on vacation aswell... he is a pro when it comes to cams.SO i hope some of you guys can give me advice on this topic i know we have many great snappers around here. I already picked something in my price range but dont know if it is best for the buck i have to spare ( btw i cant invest more than 500€ on it )what i found so far was the canon 1100D with a 15-85mm standart lens kit ( no sdcard included and no bag ) for 359€ at a local storeAlready took a look at some reviews but it was hard to find equal ratings on this cam... dont know if pros that use bigger cams and other lenses give these ratings. If anyone is using this cam i would like to hear how you think of it and how it is in terms of balancing and so on.I would like to be able to make pictures like this with long exposure i dont even know if that would be possible with the cam.I appreciate any help i can get since im a total newb in this category. Thanks in advance roloc
This one is almost max there is still a super mode something as far as i read in the manual this is Fineand has almost double the size of the others posted
Im satisfied for the buck i invested and thank you all for your feedback to you Guys !
Awesome, congrats!
A couple comments:
If you're interested in learning how to shoot nice pictures in Manual mode, I had this book recommended to me by several people. It does a really good job of demystifying aperture/shutter/ISO. Every pic in the book lists the settings he used for it, and why he chose them.
Understanding Exposure
Thanks aperture and shutter is a bit strange on this camera and yes 30 times zoom is great however i was told that the quality of the pictures on high zoom compacts is not as good as on lower zoom cams...I think i will invest in the book sinc the manual isnt that great and i realy would like to know more about it and the effects you can create with it. Thank you again
Yeah, the manual will only tell you how to do it, not why to do it. The book will tell you why. Good luck!
read the book great tip i did some shots but first i would like to post this since im very proud of these shots.I demonstrate the power of the "compact" zoom
I took the pictures freehand since i do not have a tripod yet ( with a little Luck Fujifilm will hook me up ) Edit: I tried to upload a gif but it keept rejecting the upload do its size also it was downscaled and looked terrible thats why i uploaded each shot on its own...I know this takes up bandwith but for me this is something special and i wanted to show it in full res.Made some exposures also from a fair but will post those in monthly screenshot I hope you liked this Zoom demo of my tiny compact. And i want to thank TechNoWebbecause without him i would have wasted extreme money
