I would like to inform everyone on ICO that I'm going to be using the MAW after desperations nerf and theres nothing you can justify why i should not.
The first thing is of-course the issue with Orkies having there weapon upgrade time increased from 25 to 45.
The consequences of this is it makes the star-base a more defensive structure than was originally designed to switch to assault mode quickly for expansion. The deployment upgrades solves this isssue but its still an issue for early game survival.
The second thing is corvettes are now immune to everything - which is theoretically impossible but if there backed by a fleet of actual frigates then im using the MAW on lf, flak and lrm because it is easily justifiable and im sure im not alone thinking this. This is also necessary because they are now definitely 2 contenders vs titans: Bombers and Corvettes apart from orkies.
Employing flak to kill these immuned corvettes just feeds titans and caps so the idea that the MAW is not fair is actually wrong. The Maw is fair so that we can level the odds because if your building flak to counter my corvettes then im going to maw you.
I would rather have someone gg than prolong the game for another 2 hours cos i cant be bold enough to eat them alive.

Good thing Maw is largely ineffective if people split up their fleets all over the place and keep em moving while the bombers go to town.

Corvettes are too strong now that you can't counter them with desperation....
Maybe disruption matrix should disable all corvettes...I'm thinking for 5 minutes?
You forgot to add unity mass should do chaining damage... to corvettes.

Corvettes i seriously op now even though there increasing the range of flak- which i proposed a long time go.
Now that jumping star bases will require an active phase node in order to jump between planets, I must inquire as to why they should remain banned. IIRC, that they did not require an active phase node was the biggest complaint about jumping star bases, back in the day, and that has now finally been addressed.
I think once 1.5 hits, nothing will be banned...
