So, I had an alliance with Tarth. Then Kraxis declared war on Tarth:

Nada. I am not at war with Kraxis. I talked with Kraxis, whom I have a NAP with at the time. No option to declare war on Kraxis.
Is this working as intended? I believe the Alliance description says "...will come to the others aid in war." Does this NOT supercede a NAP? Shouldn't I have the opportunity to override the NAP?
I know alliances DO work for diplomatic victory, but shouldn't they have actual meaning in war?

I would be with you in this, darovana. If you have an alliance, the obligation to also declare war on an enemy should come into play, too.
