Nice Concept tom, the main thing that struck me as I first saw it tho is the lock area is egg shaped, oval, not circular?

I could tell just by eyeing it..been doing this toooo long.. but I opened in PS also just now, just to make sure I wasn't losing my touch.

Folks, throughout working on the animation I was quite unhappy about the effect as a result when my wife came saying : "It clearly needs some depth. The startmenu upon the animation has a light on the edges. If you keep it that way, the airlock effect won't be visible. Such as this it is looking like metal curtain opening" I need to say, she is no skinner and probably had never said anything about my skins in terms of processing.
But she could hardly said anything better but this. I was thinking about it more and more. Then I was jogging, 3 miles as every day and could not stop thinking of that. Well, this is what is just crossing my mind. As well as I have just fixed the oval. Should be now at 123x123 px. If I am wrong, just talk to me. So here is the screenie :

Definitely round now on the airlock Tom! I must say though that I like the layout of the original after animation start menu better though, especially at the top.
Agreed Tom. But if I keep the first version of after startmenu anim, the airlock effect will not be fine. A depth gives a nice effect to it.

Well, shit. I can't believe what I did...
I feel so stupid. I opened it in PS, surrounded it with guides, and drew a circle over it. Duh, that was so stoopid. Sorry.
If u wanna measure a circle.. just drag the rectangle selection tool over it and look at info panel.
I will do this, Tom. There gonna be two substyles. One with the depth having animation and the other one without it having the shape you mentioned. Have just hit two flies at one shot
