So, it's today, finally! I have opened my window wide, hoping for some Holywood-style special effects.
OMG
I was counting on end of the world..... all that unpaid bills [e digicons]:'([/e]
Personally, i still hope it comes with zombies and/or aliens, just to get a good last fight out of it... Bring it!
Can't open any window here, it 27 degrees Farenheit (-2 C) with snow and really cold high winds! Gee, maybe this is part of the end of the world?
Freezing here as well. If there is a zombiepolalypse, we'll be digging them out of the barrows come spring.
16 degrees F, wind chill of -6. It sure is a cold day in Hell.
Don't abandon hope so quickly for the end of the world... after all, mankind's still here.
Apparently the End Of The World was launched on schedule... but the servers overloaded and crashed immediately.
Mayabe next time...
Kinda like Microstuff. Crash and burn, burn and crash. Then comes the first service pack complete with whodunits.
Oh man! Now I really want it to end!
The only ones who had a happy and productive end of the world were the companies that manufacture gas masks, bomb shelters and toilet paper. The rest are just sheeple.
Okay, so once again, it was a dud. It reminds me one spectacular End Of The World party the moonist sect had in Korea, I think in 1998 - thousands of followers gathered on a large stadium, awaiting The End with their Guru, and in the end, he just said:
"Sorry, nothing has happened, let's go home."
Epic.
However, I now know why the world did not end - because I finished Assassin's Creed 3 in time, hehe
Hello I am speaking from the post-apocalyptic era. Can you catch my voice signals. OVER
Hello, surprisingly, I am reading you loud and clear.
I have dared a short exploratory walk outside, and the streets are mostly deserted, only a lone straggling survivor here and there. The shops are all closed, bar a sporadic hot dog stand here and there. Obviously, dog meat is the only foodstuff readily available in these harsh times.
I was not able to secure appropriate food supply, and that leaves me stranded on my emergency peanut and chips supply.
I was well prepared, plenty of peanut butter and jelly and cookies and Hersheys and even a little non violent illegal activity, not, in case the movie goes into overtime.
Me too, mate. But not totally. If my family and I were well prepared it would need a fortune to be ready for a possible end. But here in Czech I know couple folks being so trusty that they made a pile of food supplies in their basements... who knows, perhaps better be prepaired? I am not made that way. If something is like the end is to come, then it is innevitable and .... Rather will now be thinking of any end now
It wasn't bad, really...as far as ends of the world go. I've seen better though. As I recall, the previous one was better as I got to eat Mexican food that day (my favorite). Looking forward to the next one.
Yeah...this was the worst apocalypse ever!
It was boring. I was kinda hopin' a big ole crack in the world would open up and we'd find out what happened to Jimmy Hoffa or maybe all the bankers, believing the world is gonna go poof, decided not to go to work or lock anything up. There are a lot of banks in this neck of the woods. Cha-ching!
