I'm a little disappointed with this game. Not only are the graphics the exact same as FOUR YEARS AGO ... you took away features like unlocking new characters and campaign mode. You also took away historical scenarios.
You would have been better off taking the same 2008 game and slapping a 2012 cover on it -- it would have been more enjoyable.
I hope you're planning on adding more with a patch.

Agreed. I don't mind the graphics, though - if they were realistic it would look terrible but I feel the stylized graphics still look good.
But the lack of a single-player campaign/more scenarios/unlocking characters is just horribly disappointing Here's hoping for a patch!
If those things aren't added, at least a Scenario Creator would be amazing. People could create their candidates, issues, input historical data, etc.
I have to say I'm ok with the graphics as well - then again, I'd even be ok with the original Political Machine's graphics. I do, however, miss the historical (and fictional) characters (and occasional odd-ball issues).
Given that this is the third in the series, and the games seem to play rather similarly, I'm kind of surprised (though not disappointed) that the previous two presidential campaigns aren't included as options.
I'd have to agree here too. I'm still enjoying it, but it's kind of hard to deny that this is just the 2008 version with a 2012 skin. It's less the graphics for me and more that there are basically no gameplay changes. It would have been nice if there was something to differentiate this game from 2008 other than updated issues, updated candidates, and a slightly prettier HUD. Something like different campaigns, support for third parties, or just anything that would have made the game play differently than 08 would have been great.
I might be less disappointed if I could actually get a multiplayer match going, though, but at this point in time the multiplayer just flat out doesn't work for me or anyone else I have talked to about it. I'm sure at least the multiplayer will be patched, though.
I guess it was only $6.99, and it still is fun, but I guess I can't help but be a little let down at how lean this game is.
i found multiplayers room always empty and the 1 time i found a fellow mp they had a password so they sat idly alone waiting... erf! ...
it was cool to find by surprise chickfila and current issues haha hope see more relevant ones too nice touch

No, what's really disappointing is that it's less than that. They removed things that added a lot of replay value (unlockable characters, different scenarios/campaign mode, etc). If they literally just took the 2008 version and updated the stats/issues, it would be a better game.
