Didn't see anything on the first page
Was in a sins game, entering its second hour, heard a "Ping". alt+tabbed, error message saying sins had crashed and a mini-dump was performed.
Is there something wrong with my hardware? Or is this a SINs specific issue? any fixes? it said a log was kept, if it could be useful I could dig around and find it

Sins has been notorious for minidumps and desyncs, especially when a game just comes out. If this was a Rebellion minidump, I think you send it to rebellionsupport@stardock.com.
I might be wrong though.
But Minidumps are a Sins-specific issue. The only way to recieve fixes for them that I know of would be to get updates. If I remember correctly, you can directly update your game from the Stardock website.
constantly happening to me also. I am regretting buying this game, makes it unplayable to have it crash like this every hour or so.
I'm getting this problem consistently the current version of Rebellion, too - every hour or so, and my .dmp files are around 40 MB - too big to email...Anybody get any resolution?
Same here. After an hour or two of play the game crashes and I get the mini-dump window.
We have resolved the major, known causes of minidumps for v1.04. If you zip down your minidump file, you'll find that it compresses pretty significantly.
Well where can I get v1.04 because how it sits now, I can't play for over an hour because the game crashes to a minidump on Medium-Large map set to AI hard. I go back and reload through autosave and it just does it again. Seems to happen right when I start winning the map.

Oh, and btw, don't know if this will help or not but when I play with my son and we play together on the same size map, it has only crashed to minidump once. Most of the time it works when there are two of us playing. I have had to stop three different times now from crashes while playing solo 6 player medium-large map with the AI all set to Hard.

1.04 is the next patch coming out soon. No one has it right now. Hopefully it will fix your issue.
The only thing I can say to try now is to check your RAM use for Sins when the game minidumps. If its greater than 1.5 GB you might want to reduce your graphics settings. I'm doubt that is causing your problem but you never know.
so is this patch coming out anytime soon? I've owned the game since June and been able to play it a grand total of 9 hours because of this bug.

I consider inresponsable to actually dont make the update a critical and urgent patch. I mean , customer that buy game and cannot play?
Lets wait to tuesday, or friday , or one month...seems that the fix of this issue is not important at all. Excuse my attitude but never have this kind of issues and this kind of answers from the game developers.

The game is playable, sheesh...for me I just keep the game small, and have the difficulty on Normal or lower for right now. The update is tomorrow, not in a week, or month...
