I've been playing around with, and been having a fun time changing up things in Rebellion, as I always had in Entrenchment. For reference, I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate-64 bit. However, there's one issue I've run into Rebellion, notably one that I did not run into on Entrenchment, and that error is that Rebellion has consistently crashed at under 2 GB RAM being used up, throwing me a "Ran out of memory" error.
Going by Windows Task Manager's memory column, this consistently happens in the 1,600,000-1,700,000K zone. This strikes me as odd as Entrenchment runs in the 1,800,000-1,900,000K without issue (I haven't managed to make it go past there). As noted in the OP, this is admittedly all occurring on modded Sins, though I'm attempting to reproduce this on vanilla Rebellion.
Mods really mess with active memory.

I'm aware of this, however as this happens with a single mod, and one which as I noted in the OP worked at higher memory uses in Entrenchment, is concerning.
Rebellion is a different critter than Entrenchment - there's quite a bit more going on behind the scenes. It could be that your video card is running out of memory, however. Try turning down graphics settings?
what is Ur windows page file set at use to get ran out of mem errors until i set my page file to its recommended also set it equally likewise mine is recommended set initial size is 5371 and maxed it at 5371.
it might get rid of that low mem problem( never i mean never let windows auto this function) windows can use Ur page file as virtual ram so if its not set high enough Ur game will crash with a warning of low virtual memory.
and yes this works for windows 7 some buddies of mine fixed some problems with eve by doing this. it affects games directly u might even see the increase in performance.

Well well well, seems the partition that Steam is on has no page file at all, this is no longer the case. Odds are this was the issue, didn't think of checking that, thanks.
