I'm ashamed to ask this, I don't usually cheat unless I'm playing *with* a game instead of just playing it. But it's clear that there;s alot of balance issue is the beta as it stands. That perfect plot of land for a city happens to have a Slag or Forest Drake guarding it and I'm a good 100 turns from being able to take it on, by which time I won;t be able to hold my own against opposing factions unless I've expanded more, that kinda thing.
I just need somoething to give me an edge until the kinks are worked out!
First, enable cheats by adding " cheat" at the end of the shortcut you use to run it, like "C:\longpathname\FallenEnchantress.exe cheat"
then press control and the letter
ctrl + U toggles fog of war
ctrl + T teleport selected unit to cursor
ctrl + M gives 1000 of everything (gold, horses, crystal, etc)
ctrl + B complete buildings in queue in selected city
ctrl + J researches ALL tech
then experiment with the rest of the alphabet
Right now the kinks are in the player's favour in general. Stop making excuses about why you "need" to cheat and just say you want to! As long as you're not playing multiplayer no one really cares

doest cheat go inside or outside of the quotes? doesn't seem to work either way, perhaps it's -cheat like a switch?
The one cheat I would like to see at this point is the ability to kill a unit that you've already killed with a spell. I'm really not fond of exiting the game and reloading it because destructive spells on the strategic map leave enemies walking around with 0 hitpoints, and fully capable of destroying my buildings and cities.
My pathname (not the default) does not have any blanks, it doesn't have/need quotes around it. I put quotes around it only for this post. And there is no - or /, just a space between the "exe" and the "cheat". This works for me -- not sure what to do with a path that needs quotes.
ARG I didn't even think about asking if there were any. But seriously, this is Beta. USE CHEATS. It can help test out...well whatever it is you want to test out. Lol, thanks for asking, I even thought of this before. I wanted to teleport one of my heroes somewhere to see how something (forget what it was) worked. But I knew there wasn't any way to cheat in the game.

I go the steam version of the game, how do you enable the cheats on that?

found the .exe file in the steam/steamapps/common/FE....
folder and made a shortcut, but it refuses to accept the cheat ending.
ok, found it, cheat comes after ""s, not inside them
In steam, run steam... right click on the game and select properties. go to set launch options and write in -cheat
Yes there are cheats for those who "cheat". For those who can't win without cheating. For those that just can't resist the will to cheat. For those that must cheat or they don't feel fulfilled. For those that justify cheating as an act of "it's my game I'll do what I want to" even though it's STILL cheating regardless of their statements of "my game I'll do what I want to". Plainly don't be a cheater and you'll have many friends. Be a cheater and you'll have those that will just say they are your friend but are just using you or will stab you in the back when the opportunity is right for them or in their favor.....cheaters are like that....yeah theya are. ;{P
Ok hopefully somebody responds to this since this is a very old forum post. But nothing is working for me in getting this to work. If someone anyone can step by step tell me how to put this in, I'd appreciate it.... Thanks...
In steam, right click on your game and open up properties. From there go to launch properties add -cheat
All the above commands should work then.
there is another way to cheat
get cheat engine
run it
run FELH
select FELH process in cheat engine
select first scan - set float - enter the gold amount from top of FELH hud
buy something - gold amt will change
change gold amt in cheat engine to match the new gold amt and select next scan
once you have only one address and value - that is the gold amt location
double click on it and than change gold amt to any amt you want
do the same for mana
this way you can cheat as much or as little as you want and it will not spoils the game and it will give you a legs up and
you can play on higher difficulty levels with a richer experience
PS: you can also change the main hero's perks as well this way
