Before I just dive in and attempt to remedy this by editing the skin (if possible) I'd like to know if it is something that is in the skin, or perhaps something with the existing computer skin settings. Or maybe my computer is acting badly (Windows Vista 64) and I need to remedy it some other way.
I'm thinking it is probably something with my system as this is one of my favorite skin artists and I have not noticed anything before with his (her?) work.
What skin is it and are you using a Vista substyle?
It's Summer Green, by k10w3.
liz, its a windows 7 skin, looks like your trying to use it on another os, and your font looks very large too...
id be doing malware checks
In windowblinds settings > advanced settings tab.
Make sure "I would like Windowblinds to use Vista UI guidelines when skinning menus" is checked.
roflmfaoo: Your image is coming up broken for some reason, so here's another:
Problem is that it is already checked. Other than that bit of visual distraction there is no other problems I have found and I've been using it for three weeks. Usually I go to something else after a week. I'm so used to having Windows 7 64 that I don't even think that I'm on my Vista 64 machine (reformatting Win 7 soon to hopefully add some life to a dying HD)
Vampothika is right -- I skin for Windows 7 (the only OS I own), so I was not able to test how it would perform on Vista. You might want to try opening the skin in SkinStudio and adjusting the left margin of the Start Menu Popup Menu-->Background and/or Menu Item and see if that fixes it.
I shall do that. I wasn't sure if it was one of those skins that were disabled for editing for the most part.
your welcome liz.
