I've found a few items that provide say 25% more experience to the unit equipped with it. However after each battle the division of experience seems to show that it isn't effective, or perhaps it generates experience in a step after combat? Anyone else seen this issue...???
It's a good question. Guess you'd have to monitor each units XP before and after battle to find out. Sure would be preferable to see the end result in the end of battle wrap-up window though.
Also, isn't higher Intelligence supposed to give more exp as well. I'd like to see that also figured in the end of battle wrap up. I'm guessing it is working fine, but just one of those small details that has yet to be ironed out for final release.
The experience you see earned in the victory screen is the base XP given to all units. This XP is then multiplied by whatever bonuses your characters might have (like INT bonus and rings of wisdom). At least, that's how I've seen it working.
Okay i'll see what I can see...
Having higher intelligence modifies the number shown, atleast at a single unit present in combat.

I've tested this and it seems to work as described.
Example 1: very smart sovie and dumb champ doing everything together -- sovie slowly pulls ahead in xp actually gained.
Example 2: measuring XP gained by paragon spell with two enhancers, or either, or none showed that each of them helped and both together helped more.
What a useful cotnribution Lord Cobol! Hey, other than the ring for 25 percent, what enhanment did you use... a ring on 2 characters? ... or are you including a +intel bonus equipment as the other.
Also, which is a higher bonus--the +5 intel or the 25% Wisdom ring... if you remember?
