Well now. We all know this is an old vanilla strategy that worked for a while.
But now that rebellion is out again, we can expect a new spawn of this incredible strategy that a very known player supported well during the darkest times of the kodiak.
It could be qualified as stupid by most people but, as you will see, it is most definitly not.
Supporting the kodiak rush strat while its useless makes your oponents underestimate you,for a long time, too long time will say some, and others will say its still sheer stupidity, but no.
The point of it, is to make yourself seem so weak, and helpless, that once the kodiak comes back into da game, you will have the most experience in it, and will normaly rape em all. Well some would say i'm stupid, but yes its true.
Now an example.
This is very conclusive as we all know, the kodiak uses autocanons, we can therefor conclude, kodiaks are not lazor cats.
What a relief my friends! We shall escape ragnarok once again (exept if auqia suddenly talks, then we will know the END IS NEAR)

Now we can conclude that the kodiak rush was a well thought strategy fro the long term. The players using it during the dark times had their eyes on you!
Well, if anyone can furthermore explain to me how exactly this kodiak rush strategy plays out ... i would greatly apriciate it.

you spend all of this great amount of money to get the Kodiak
and by the time you have one or two, your opponent has like 20 planets, 700 Javelis, and 25 trade ports

Tried that the loyatist level two titian with 200 fleet supply of kodiaks it noms noms them :/ free exp anyone also tried 150 fleet supply of corvettes against a level one Loyatist titian.
MY guns they do NOTHING dam thing has a pocket repair

you have to choose a ship that will not be killed by the GFTO bubble the loyatist titan uses even with support it can negate the repair crusers heal D:
they are the only things that wont die too fast and actually do damage to the titan
Iva tried 200 kodiaks (thats 2000 supply) vs lv 10 loyalist titan.
titan wins.
As it is lvl 10 Loyalist titan dies only in enemy grav well with multiple dunows draining his am and about 70 kodiaks with your own titan.
You have to kill planet first then you might kill him....
NO SERIOUSNESS ALOWED
and 100 kodiaks kill any level of rebel titan
19 turrets kill any level of loyalist titan too, but its best to use that with kodiaks if the loyal has a fleet
AND, stop being serious, my answer closed that debate (if you don't make it with what i wrote its because your techs aren't good enough, or you suck)

Your best option is to always build you fleet with Javelis first then compliment the kodiaks as you go along. That way your defending your empire and building its economy to support heavy cruisers. Add flak and hoshiko' as icing on the cake.
HC rush overall was a great strat. Only thing that put a damper in it really was when carriers were buffed to hell. But now that carriers were nerfed again for diplo, it might work.

The TEC loyalist titan seems invunerable to the bomber spam. You would need 100 squadrons to scratch a high level one. That thing has enough flak guns to keep itself covered for a short while and it could probably repair the majority of the damage it took with just its ablitiy in a friendly well.
100 light frigates might make some carrier captains piss their pants. Just keep your empire from being scouted in the end/midgame and you can really surprise the crap out of your opponent with this lil counter.
BUT WAIT!! this is weak against a kodiak spam..OMG
