Its beta. Doesnt matter if it still has bugs. They should update us on a schedule release
Perhaps with the complexity of what they're dealing with they don't have as clear-cut a schedule as we (or they) would like. If this was a post-release product I might agree.
My guess would be at least a few weeks. They're getting a TON of great data and feedback from this beta.

Please tell me that there will be other playable races in the next patch. I am dieing to play the Advent.Still... It would be nice not to get a mini dump while thirty minutes in multiplayer.
Any reason why you would not be able to release an unfinished patch every week?
Good to hear. I'm sure alot of that is in regards to how to best fit the Titans and the new Corvette class into Sins, which seems to be the main topics of debate here since the beta launched.

That means I have to wait "at least a few weeks" until the performance problems that make my saves unplayable and crash the game every 1-2 minutes get fixed?

If there's a bug that breaks the game then they will release a fix as soon as possible but other bugs and add on's will be patched in an official release that has gone through testing (aside from beta testers)-quality assurance etc etc and is approved. I'm not sure how this will work for the beta but for purchased completed games then they follow this pattern.
From the Facebook page, it seems BETA 1 is going to be out for a week or so, then BETA 2 will come a couple of weeks later, after they have gone over the feedback for BETA 1.
From experience, once a save is corrupted it will stay that way. Start a new game and change your graphic settings lower, see if that helps.
Also make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card. Or maybe a full reinstall of beta.
Was hoping to get something for you guys this week, but we're short staffed with GDC going on this week (and we've found a couple nasty, new bugs). Assuming that this week doesn't happen, we'll definitely have an update for folks next week with crash fixes, bug fixes and balance updates.
