RESEARCH:
- The description for the "Pillaged War Chest ability" is very unclear and should be modified.
- "Truce amongst rogues" apparently stops the Pirates from attacking you. I had no idea. (When a new raid was immanent, I found myself wondering why my opponent was wanted while I had more bounty on my head!) Description should be modified.
- I was able to build a new capital ship with 0 capital ship crews available. The research for an additional crew was underway, but was not yet finished when my Corsev emerged from the factory.
- Will a TEC Rebel be able to take the artefact planet from the initial neutral forces when "Truce amongst rogues" has been researched?
- Some way to turn off "Pirate Mercenaries" (once researched) would be nice, as they eat your fleet supply. Similar to "Returning Armada", which can also be turned off. (Getting forces for free is great, of course, but at some point you might want to add specific ships to your fleet, build a constructor, etc...)
VISUAL:
- Can't zoom in on ships as much as you used to?
- When pointing at a planet, the icon for the Kol FLAGSHIP is that of an Advent Radiance.
ABILITIES:
- "Boarding Party" states it can only target enemy targets, but other abilities of the Corsev suggest friendly targets can be boarded as well.
- Selecting the pirate planet after making them your ally as offensive TEC shows the ally commands (set attack, set defence, ....) buttons. They don't seem to do anything.
OTHER:
- The AI has wasted several attacks on my defences. These attacks consisted of one capital ship each, no other ships. Although he was backed into a corner and was very outnumbered, I assume this is not correct AI behaviour.
... AND IN GENERAL:
Very excited so far!
the Corsev's demo team target ur own frigs and blows them up lol its like the red button on starbases just on a smaller scale and salvage op is a passive ability when ur frigs r destroyed it get repaired based on the frigs max hull points or something
Not unless someone else wipes them out and bombs them, since you can do neither due to the alliance with them.
Devs are apparently already looking into this.
You and I have very similar ways of noticing things!
Thanks for the clarifications, guys. I played another round today, and have some additional feedback:
- Didn't see any stat changes or buffs from Savage Thrill (was bombing enemy planet)
- The research "Battlefield promotions" does not apply to the Titan? (Not included in description)
- TEC Loyalists have too few benefits in the early game. Suggestion: make "Hardened Defences" (or other loyalist research) available with fewer research stations.
- "Militia Weaponry" clearly states which units benefit from it, "Militia Armor" does not. Would be nice if they both did.
- Idea for additional loyalist TEC research: more tax and/or trade income from planets that have starbases in grav well. (Because it is safer, the planet becomes an interesting place to invest in, so the economy thrives.)
- Crashed when I unlocked Space Ponies (lol) and took a screenshot. Runtime error. I did not consider copying any detailed information at the time. Sorry about that.
- No victory screen after defeating all enemy Capital planets (Capital victory was on)
- Is there any way so see the faction that random AI have "chosen"? Other than the unique units of course. Maybe it can be included in the Diplomacy menu?
- And finally, a point of criticism: the new TEC voices are to colourful for my taste. I prefer voices that are a bit more neutral, like that of the Kol Battleship. For example, the commander of the Rebel TEC titan sounds like an aggressive maniac I would not hand a super weapon to. But I get that -he's supposed to be aggressive. The loyal TEC titan, however, sounds only a tad less aggressive, which doesn't make sense to me. The TEC Corvettes are not very pleasant to listen to either.I realise that the voices will probably not be redone. But if there are any other voices still that need to be done, please consider that not all of them need to be (extremely) colourful. Personally, I like hearing units from time to time that sound like they're capable of and willing to handle themselves in combat.
I just saw your feedback post, InvalidSN. We do indeed! A certain proverb comes to mind
2. "Boarding Party" states it can only target enemy targets, but other abilities of the Corsev suggest friendly targets can be boarded as well.
3. Militia Weaponry" clearly states which units benefit from it, "Militia Armor" does not. Would be nice if they both did.
1. They work, but yeah they should be on the info card.
2. Well once you capture an enemy target with this ability, it becomes friendly and keeps the boarded attribute. So that's how that is possible.
3. Armor is a global stats that all units have. Even on the normal units I don't thin it shows what gets it.
