Ok guys, so I am having a lot of trouble defeating the TEC Kodiak Heavy Cruiser rush.  It is so powerful that I can't seem to develop an effective counter.  I have decided to portray to you my typical experiences with the Kodiak rush and how it is ruining my life.

Step 1: I find a game to join on Ironclad Online!!!!

Usually I find the lobby to be full of my favorite two people in online gaming, [_] King of kings and _|~Sire

Step 2: After 45 minutes of drama picking teams, the game finally begins, and oh great, I find that my homeworld is connected to a TEC player.  Reality sets in and I can already feel the hundreds of kodiaks pouring into my homeworld and mercilessly destroying my fleet of Revelation Battlecruisers and Domina Subjugators.  Long story short, I am predicting...

Step 3: I get nervous that it's been 45 minutes and I have not built anything other than 5 new capital ships and 75 subjugators.  I do not scout because I can't handle all the extra micro it would take, plus 200 credits could be put towards another Revelation.  My fear makes me decide to scuttle all my subjugators and start spamming purge vessels.

Step 4: Right after I scuttle all my ships, my enemy jumps into my homeworld and I am defenseless.  2 kol's, 300 Kodiaks, and I never saw it coming.

Step 5: I freak out, because I am defenseless.

Ok, so what am I doing wrong?  How do I beat Kodiak Rush, or is it just too overpowered?
