I like what is currently the detail screen, which is also part of the view shown when I click on a champion's EQUIP button.
However, because of the fact that I can't cycle between heroes on the detail screen, and I'm way less interested in equipping a single unit than I am in moving items around between characters, I would make the following suggestions. Comments are in the image.

One thing to add; we need to see ALL the units stats, things like Dodge & Initiative are vital yet missing on the shop, trade & Level up screens.
I'm going to add to what you just added, because I really, really want this added to the game, too.

Really, pretty pretty please combine these UI screens. I'll post pictures of my chickens in my backyard as incentive.
These screens generally need UI and cleanup work. Good suggestions.
The equip and trade buttons could be combined easily, as trade has the features of the equip screen.
