Hello,
the title says it all. Purchased a boxed version of SoaSE Trinity from Amazon and Impulse does not accept the key printed on the manual. Funnily enough, the stardock store homepage accepts the key. I created a ticket three working days ago...
Looking through the forums I see that this problem is being posted since 2009! I can't believe this is happening again and again and users have to wait for their ticket to be responded! Not that I want to criticize a response time of two days in general, but regarding this problem I think it is a shame that there is no other solution. I can not update my product. Received the game on Thursday and could not play on the weekend...

I´m not sure If it only applies to desktop-design software, but Stardock has moved away from Impulse....
Try log in here: https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products
Yes, for the application software that is true. Games need to be registered with Impulse still, to receive patches. Thanks for the response!
The comical thing is that the Stardock store accepts the key, but tells me to register at Impulse as well, to receive the updates...
A moderator WILL help you shortly ! Relax it will be sorted
I've bookmarked this thread and will 'poke' SD Support in the morning. With any luck, it'll help.
btw, have you looked in your email "spam"/Junk folder to see if perhaps responses from SD Support went there in error?
Impulse/ Upper left corner dropdown menu/ Detect Application. Point to non-Impulse base install folder.
Thank you very much! Yes, I checked the Spamfolder, this has happened to me once and never will again...
Hmm, thanks? I don't think this will help, as the game is detected by Impulse. It says "update available". But I can not download it, because my key is rejected...
vandewusel - you might try sending a request for help (include this thread's url) to support@impulsedriven.com .
Am still trying to get help for you.
Done. Thanks for your effort!
You're welcome.
The problem might lie in a Stardock database. It's being looked into, vandewusel.
vandewusel,
The problem has been corrected and you should now be able to register your copy of Trinity within Impulse. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Lets us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks a lot! The game is registered.
So, the tickets [#GPA-519400] (Stardock) and [#RQW-778625] (Impulsedriven) can be closed.
