I'm playing sandbox with the latest release of Elemental.
I've created a custom faction that I am playing and a custom faction that I want to play against as my opponent.
Can I do this?
The reason I ask is because when I go to the setup screen and choose my opponent(s), I am stuck with the standard 10 (5 Kingdom, 5 Empire).
How do I import my custom opponent into the game? I can import my custom faction no problem, but not my custom faction opponent.
The one guide I've seen ?gyb? for elemental states that it is even possible in sandbox to play against your own faction, but I can't seem to do it.
How?
Help!
This use to be an option, but it was taken out. It would be really cool if they brought that back...but they tend to just remove features that cause problems than fix them.
You can play against custom factions as far as I know. There should be an arrow in the top right of the Empire or Kingdom factions in the opponent's selection screen.
I suppose they removed the feature in the betas then? Hopefully we'll see it again in the future.
I can add them in the latest beta build, 1.19.
Oh really? Maybe I am blind and missed, it. Glad it's still there.

Please make my day Heavenfall and tell me how. I only see the 10 standard races when I go to select an opponent and I have the latest update, v1.19l.
Oh right, they disappear when you restart the game.
Open the xml found in your documents/my games/elemental/race folder. Change <Alignment>Neutral</Alignment> into <Alignment>Good</Alignment> or <Alignment>Evil</Alignment> (good for kingdom, evil for empires).
@Heavenfall
Awesome! I can see the file for the faction in the game now! Thanks a lot!
