Hi there,
I've just installed the game on my laptop, but unfortunately there is some problem with the graphics. On menus and in game everything blinks many times every second.
I've got the latest Intel driver and Direct X November 2010 update. OS is Windows 7 x64, CPU/GPU - Intel i7 620m. Game is Diplomacy 1.011.
TIA
EDIT: Tried window mode - same problem.
Intel graphics are... not exactly the best there is...
Have you been adjusting the values of your video card? If so, try the default settings. I am also not an expert but it might be your refresh rate, frequency value.

Rule of thumb: Intel graphics suck for anything like 3D gaming.
I know this is an old thread but I wanted to bump it up to see if there is anything that can be done to make the game playable?
My desktop runs the game great, but a friend of mine wants to buy the new game & play it as well but only has a laptop with the standard, onboard Intel HD graphic chipset. Pretty fast dual-core processor, 4gigs of ram.
Thanks!
the I3/5/7 2xxx & 3xxx have a better intel gpu than the first I3/5/7 and earlier cpus, BUT for 3d gaming intel often does not work acceptably, but for ANY version of sins you NEED less cores, faster RAM and MORE ghz for the cpu.

The replies here are ridiculous. This is a major issue, that there are not replies about this with any actual info is very frustrating. I have to assume anyone with the same Intel HD graphics card has the same issue, including me. Supposedly it's supposed to work fine, so what's the deal?
As was posted above, please email support@stardock.com directly. The forums are not an official support channel.
Sins Rebellion works just fine on my Acer Aspire One with nothing else running. It gets a bit laggy late game, but its still playable . So that's an Intel Atom processor and some dinky video chipset. I'd say if your 4 gig ram system can't handle it, you're video card settings are screwed up.
Oh, and that's without the Sins Optimization Project installed. I have it now, but I used to use it without on this tiny machine. Hooked to a monitor, of course.
