Okay, so I just found this site off a Kotaku link for a DD sale on Amazon (ArmA II: Arrowhead for $10 is pretty good!). Never heard of this site before, and it's labeled in Beta. It's basically a huge compile of all the Digital Download providers and the sales they are running, constantly updated. It includes some basic filtering categories (by shop, latest, most popular, etc), and it also allows you to search for a specific title. Then it shows you all the shops the title is sold at (or should, I searched for New Vegas and it only showed Steam though I'm fairly certain it's also up on D2D), as well as the prices (including sale). So if I wanted to get, say, Torchlight, I see that it's 4.95 on D2D and the next cheapest is 9.98 on Gamersgate (http://www.deals4downloads.com/games/detail/nl/torchlight-pc)
It's been keeping up with the Steam/Impulse Christmas sales very well it looks like, so it looks to be a good resource when shopping around
And no, I'm in no way affiliated with the site, just figured I'd share for the rest of the people who love sales
Bookmarked, looks nice.
Although I wish it would show non-deals if no deals were available.
love me some sales. Bookmarked and will check it out later. Thanks. Haven't heard of this before.
Could be useful once they start monitoring more sources. Smart of them to start something like this; within 3-4 years I expect pretty much all PC software, not just games, to be digital download only. A site like this could become THE goto site when looking for any PC software. Listing the regional availibility is nice too.
