This patch has been indefinitely better than the previous patch. A lot of the issues from before have disappeared almost over-night, and I've only crashed once in almost two hours of play. The Developers are really on the ball. So, without further ado! More Bugs to report! Some are even new! This is a beta after all.
(As with the last thread, this will be an evolving list, where I'll post all of the bugs I find as I find them.)
Patch 1.09p Bugs
Patch 1.09o Crashes
Population in level 5 cities seems to reset to 670 when you load a game.
I haven't gotten that far yet with this version. I seem to take a very long time to grow my empires.
I still have yet to recreate this bug, I have only one Level 5 city so far however. Do you have any more information on it, so I can perhaps try to recreate it? Do you have a savegame I could download and try out to see if it is more a localized issue?
I mentioned in another post that I stumbled on a workaround. When end-of-turn crashes were happening to me, I started saving more often so I wouldn't lose as much progress. I've found that when I manually save (not autosave) every turn, I never get an end of turn crash. My guess is it's related to the autosaves.
This could be true, although it's only happened to me once thus far. I'm particularly pleased with how stable this version of the game is; Frogboy and his minions have outdone themselves. I'll definitely log any crashes that occur though. Two crashes after around 6 hours of gameplay is actually very good by my standards. (Mount & Blade: Warband's Brytenwalda mod, and Fallen Earth crash on average once per hour.)
Capturing enemy cities send my economy into a downward spiral.
In order to stop an aggressive AI player from attacking me - after they already made the threat. I began to systematically take over his cities.
to my surprise each city I captured put my gilder and food into the red. I would think that if the computer is operating these cities and somehow has a stronger army than me that they can afford that army. Why would he have so many cities that are underfunded?
Same. I'm not experiencing much in the way of crashes at all.
That's usually why I meticulously destroy buildings in enemy cities that I don't need. Especially huts, which are typically what hurt my economy the most later down the line.
It is well known from the lore that Mancers are alergic to Certain types of leather on their feet. Trust me, the rash is not worth the extra move.
It's a pain though.
Here is a constant and repeated crash, somewhat mid game with all AI combatants included. memory leaks and all. Notices the stacked goodie huts all over the place!!

Not so much fun after that!
Here is another bug.
When casting teleport from your soveriegn while in a city he will walk to the destination instead of being teleported there.
When an enemy declares war on you, if you cast greater raise land in an armies path to your city the army will just stand at the base of the mountain instead of trying to find another path. If there is none perhaps it would be good to make the ai able to lower the mountain thereby allowing his armies to pass through.
I will try that idea to day - thanks
Sorry, haven't played much since that one game with said issue. I will try get a save as soon as i can. Finals are dramatically reducing my game time. Curse you georgia tech.
