It should show up on Impulse. Look for a little yellow "!" on your Elemental icon.
I'm having trouble getting it to run, though. I get a "failed to download date file" error when I start the game, even though I do have an internet connection. I tried disabling my AV firewall but that didn't help.
Make sure you have the 'Show pre-release versions' option checked in the impulse preferences menu. Then it was available at the bottom of the impluse client for me (said something like beat 1.09n is available)

I just LOVE the changes made (the UI looks and feels much better), the perforamnce seems to be better and it just feels better to me.
One problem though is that I had only maybe 2 crashes in about 50 hours on the game before this update.. and now after 25mins of playing it I got a crash to desktop ):
Other then the crash, its an amazing update! Magic and UI seems to be alot better.
Was originally going to wait till 1.12 but I decided to download the beta... only to be told that the downloaded files were smaller than expected. Time to re-download now...
I am having the same problem. I've tried everything I can think of but so far haven't been able to fix the issue. If you figure out what is causing your problem could you let me know. Might help me solve mine. I think I had a similar problem with Elemental beta's before, never was able to fix the problem so I just played sc2 beta instead lol.
Works great here - only one snag - i tried to click into the infomation about game concepts - and the game crashed.but the game is awwessoome you reaaaaally cant leave your cities undefended
Impulse keeps downloading 1.89 gigs, but is expecting 2.23 gigs. Cannot install game.
Is this demo beta closed to anyone who doesn't already own Elemental? I was expecting an open beta. But when I configure Impulse to show demos and pre-release betas, it still doesn't show up in any list I can find.
The solution was simple: I never realized that, unlike Steam, Impulse doesn't log you in automatically. So all I needed to do was to log in ('change log-in' on the top left preferences icon - I think it should read 'log-in') and the game started just fine.
BUG REPORT: I found one bug so far: I was in a tactical battle and my sovereign was struck down on the battlefield, leaving Janusk alone. Well, the battle kept going on with the AI bandit running around seemingly randomly. Eventually, the bandit just fell to his knees and died for no apparent reason. The battle ended with a victory for us, with my sovereign alive and well on the strategic map.
This is only for owners, yes. Apparently a demo will be coming out based on 1.1.

How do you train unit now...!? There's no prebuilts and the 'scout' I designed doesn't appear even though I have 35 pop 'to draw upon'...
