Actually, the title refers to my goal. Unlike most of my games, I won't be going for the Diplomatic Victory, that win type of weak-willed sub-races. No, I and my Drengin Empire will be pursuing an all-out Conquest Victory, crushing all others beneath our adamantine claws! And just to increase the challenge, I'll be doing it on the Unlimited Power scenario: where all races have massive logisitics bonuses, including (gulp) the 'bonus' Dread Lords that automatically appear. My first playthrough of this scenario, on the original Dread Lords, resulted in one of the most interesting and exciting games I've played; now I seek to repeat that experience on DA (actually, I'd prefer Twilight, as I've wanted to try the Drengin tech tree, but there's a bug that makes it impossible to play scenarios on it).
(BTW, all joking aside, this is a standard AAR - or rather DAR as I'll be writing it while playing the game. No council involved.)

Actually it's a good idea to change your approach to conquest once in a while if you're used to diplomatic victories, I feel it makes for a much more interesting, dynamic game (speaking from experience, since I too often went for a diplomatic or tech victory myself )

By the way, how do I upload a screenshot? I'm using Google Docs not Imageshack, if that makes a difference. So far I can't figure out how to do anything but create a link to the image, which doesn't have quite the aesthetic I'm looking for (as in the screenshots for "The Kushana Initiative")

I can put the link into a shorter form, but it still doesn't look as nice as a screenshot actually on the page.
You have to host it with imageshack or something else and than use the insert image option in this forum when you are making your reply.
Edit: That didn't work. I utterly despise Imageshack and if I have no other option but to use it I'll forgo screenshots completely. Even the link from before isn't working anymore.
Anyone who knows how to do this, specifically for Google Docs, please explain, simply as you can possibly make it, how to upload an image to these forums from that site.

Edit: I am considering going ahead and discontinuing this. I hate reading AARs without screenshots and don't plan on creating one.

I've decided to start this over in a new thread so as not to clutter the AAR up with a miscellaneous technical discussion. It's taken me a little while to get the grasp on the Drengin personality, as this will be written in-character from several Drengin leaders. The first "actual" post will go up soon.
