This is the main discussion page of The Kushana Advocates for Defense. As our name suggests we are a political party thet supports Defensive/Warlike(some) decisions. We will discuss decisions that will be made in the Kushana Initiative. If you are a member of the Council and DO NOT support Imperialism, PLEASE do not post comments on this page. TMS2224 when do we start disscusing the ordeals of the council? I have been following your debate with elite LordCarlos, and I think you are right and we should reasearch the technology that takes the shortest amount of time because that will lower the time it takes to reasearch all technologies that are available at that time.
Although I probably won't join in, what exactly is your definition of "imperialism", for the purposes of this thread?
By "Imperialism" I mean we support building up the military and power of the Initiative. As you can see on the main page of the Initiative I am a huge advocate of the military. This group is for like minded people.
Please do not vote for my compromise. I have retracted it in favor of Doctor Malar's Research Plan. Here is a summary of How I voted:
Research:
Dr. Malar's Research Plan: Vote in favor.It is a better research plan than mine.
Councilor TMS2224's Compromise Research Plan: I retract the compromise.
Budget and Development
No Social Funding: Vote in Favor.
Increased Espionage: Vote in Favor.
No Advanced Projects: Vote in Favor.
Colonization and Exploration:
Colonization of Currently Known Worlds: Vote Against.
Councilor qrtxian's Colonization Plan(with LordCarlos ammendum): Vote in Favor.
This is a summary of Advocate Policy also. If you are a member Please vote like this. However, be aware that you are not required to vote in this fashion.
By the way, Councilor, though I intend to remain independent of your party, I would like to suggest that you change your name to the Kushana Advocates for Defense. "Imperialism", in the history of the Terrans and several other species, implies an aggressive and warlike policy. Although this is not your stated intent it's easily misunderstood as your goals under your current name.

I belive qrtxian is now our offical ballot maker. PLease do not vote unless you are using his ballot. Also, I am thinking about trying to change Dr. Malar's research plan. I belive we should get at least one "pure" military tech before continuing with his plan. All Advocates, pllease comment/discuss this and bring up any concerns about the vote that you may have.

Councilor qrtxian, I would like to propose a motion that would be put on the next ballot. The motion would go under Research. It is as follows. We deviate from Dr. Malar's Plan and research up to Stinger One, then we go back to Dr. Malar's Plan

Commander, all other councilors, Dr. Malar, and Mr. Gunray, I am pleased with your work and support the Doctor's decision to deviate from the research plan.
Now, on to proposals.
I still support TMS2224's Research Deviation Proposal
I would like to propose an ammendum to said proposal, before begining my proposal we research Universal Translator-Ammendment to TMS2224's R.D.P.
My next two comments are on colonization---
I propose an Ammendment to Comander Mekoides Colonization Plan, we would go with his plan, but first we would colonize Leto(PQ8) and turn it into an industrial facility(for the production of ships) with a starport. Then, we would colonize Vizzard(PQ7) and turn it into a research planet without a starport. After that we continue with the plan proposed, but leave the planets undeveloped until our economy can support major construction.
Do we need someone to second our proposals? I'm still kind of fuzzy on this.
