Hi,
I used Paypal to buy the Digital Edition of Elementals.
While the payment was processing Impulse freezed and i got an email from Paypal thet the payment was succesful.Yet the game did not show up in my games tab and ther is no email from Stardock whit the Serial so i cant DL the game.
Since its weekend i am afraid my email to sales@ will not be answerd befor monday. Is ther a faster way to get this problem solved? I got nothing else todo this Weekend^^"
If your PayPal email is not the same as your Stardock.net email (the one you use to login to Impulse) then you need to transfer the registration. Use this Transfer Registration link and put your PayPal email in the Source Account and put your Stardock.net email in the Destination Account.
You may need to restart Impulse for the game to show up in your Games tab.
already did that.
The game still dont shows up (but and old version of galCiv2 i still had on my old Email ^^).
One more thing you can try -
Try closing Impulse and running the following file:http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.regMake sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly. Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it. Then relaunch Impulse. You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.
If that doesn't work you more likely will have to wait until support return to work to get assistance and as this is a long weekend, Stardock support will not be back until Tuesday.
I can never warn people enough about using Paypal. Its no good. I use a prepaid debit card instead. Can't take whats not there.
thanks for the help.It tryd it. No effect
In deed it will be a very long weekend like this -.-
Did you try un-installing/re-installing Impulse or re-start Impulse with your security apps disabled (it sounds like a firewall)?
No i did not.But i used Impulse bevor on the same Computer and never got a Problem.
Since i did not get a Confirmation Email from Stardock i think they just did not got my order.
You can try a couple of things:
Un-install Impulse. Reboot. Disable Security apps and install Impulse http://www.impulsedriven.com/about. Open Impulse, log in and see if apps you bought show/activate.
or
Open Impulse as it is now and click on Help orb in upper right corner. Click 'Look-up serial numbers', make sure correct email is shown and send. When the Stardock email is sent back see if your game is listed. If it is, then re-install Impulse as noted above. If it's not listed then I think you unfortunately have to wait until Tuesday and Sales/Support can sort it for you.
Its not listet in the Email ;/But thanks for trying to help me.

I could not agree with you as I had identity theft problems with my PayPal account - thieves accessed my credit card and checking account and charged over $2000 through PayPal. Luckily, PayPal was responsible enough to investigate and make sure my funds were restored. After that I quit using them to purchase items.
I wasn't so lucky with them after months of trying. The irony is that I made the Paypal account in 2005 and never actually used it and a few years later I went to check my bank account and it said I owed over $3000, I only had around $70 in the account at the time. There was around 100 withdrawals, in a roll, of $36 to an online gaming site. I checked it out and it was through my Paypal account. I was careful to use a long password that had nothing to do with me as well. The bank realized it wasn't my fault so they didn't come after me, but neither would they do anything. Paypal just ignored me. Its been a couple years since then now.
