I was just attacked by the AI. The AI had a single hero:

Does this seem right?

...Definitely over 9,000... Honestly, not sure what to tell you. Was there any equipment available to provide that kind of bonus? Possibly a stackable item?

The hero doesn't seem to have any special equipment, just crazy stats.

He seems pretty weak for that combat rating, must be the combat speed multiplying the rest of the attributes into the stratosphere.
Anyway, set a full group of experienced mastercraft-equipped shock troopers on him and let's see who is crying next.

If he keeps crushing your towns, tell him that you need shelter, because all your towns a crushed.
He was level 2 at the time of that screenshot, but has leveled to three. I think his hp is up to 1531.

were you in beta?
If yes did you completely uninstall the beta? ( i know this is possible as it happened to me)
did you change either the worlds or Mangar's difficulty level?

Yeah I had that happen to me as well. Was merrily grinding an empire to dust till I hit his capital and went umm whut ..... It has to be a bug as it was like a lvl 2 hero with no gear ...
Yes I completely uninstalled the beta and deleted all the files.
I did not change any settings besides setting the world size to large. This was around turn 315 or so.
Maybe the AI just knows something we don't

Well, youll need 2 - 3 dragons to kill this guy.
Basically, 96 damage x 2 per turn (each) should take him out. The only problem is that youll probably have to kill him in the FIRST turn, or else his 99 combat speed will kill all ur dragons once his turn starts
so yea, get 3 dragons, and douse him in fire.
Oh. Also, have male children and marry them to Snathi's daughters ... those mothas are powerful ... and they also regenerate 9 HP and 9 Mana per tactical round.
the best part is he is Level 3!
Get your children to marry that beast, who cares what they look like when you have a monster capable of global domination.
Firstly, THAT IS A SHE. RESPECT HER! And you wonder why she is slaughtering your people. You offended her. [Hope I'm right here]
Secondly, do whatever it takes to surrender or end the war with her people. Give them your people, your cities, and your gildar if that's what it takes.
Third, raise or lower all the land surrounding this creature.
Forth, ally with this creature... perhaps have a son marry her.
Fifth, recruit some dragons to eat her. But only after she gives birth to a child or two.
Sixth, destroy what is left of her massive empire!
NOTE: Lapak is NOT a pre-defined NPC from my checks. She is randomly generated... and quite powerful! Wow.
