Just wondering if Stardock has released anything on approximate times when people will be able to start downloading the game on Sunday, for Pre-Orders or beta testers?

Nope. Just hoping it's before 5pm or so, or failing that 8:30pm so I can have it ready for work.
Yeah, Frogboy said "morning" for beta folks and "midday" for pre-orders. It appears that those are both Sunday, and based on US EST (GMT -5 right now, I think).
It'll probably be middle of tomorrow for you guys. It's already afternoon on Sunday here for us in Asia so we're stuck until after work on Monday.
They said midday morning for beta testers.
Assuming morning is 9 AM in the US(eastern), for those in europe that will be around 15:00(CET). Given that there will be delays and that the download will take a little while, my guesstimate is that i'll be playing the game around 17:30+

I read the "possible broken street date" thread but Frog boy isn't specific with times in it. I'm in london so the earlier the better because i doubt i'll have time to play alot during the week due to working 9-5.

I'd really like to get my hands on the game while it's Sunday, though from what i read, being pre-order and +7 from eastern US that's kind of unlikely . Monday is ok since i'll have some free time after work, but Sunday would be ideal, even late night

If the info saying 'morning' for Beta testers is correct, AWESOME! I'll get to play it today instead of having to wait til tomorrow, for I live in the UK.
My question is will it just show up in Impulse, or is there something special we have to do?
You are all responsible for me being "sick" off from work tomorrow. I'll be able to d/l it hopefully late tonight (Sunday) seeing as I live in Holland which means I'll either need to not sleep and play it, or sleep and wake up and play it. Either way, I'm useless for work!

I think you'll get an email when it's confirmed you can download it (which also confirms your CC charge), then you should be able to add the new game to impulse using the new serial number you get.
Correct me if I'm wrong those of you who know better!
Uhhh...still wondering when we in central Europe will get our pre-order-hands-on this game.
Well let's see...it'll surely take a while even when it will be available due to the time it takes until all e-mails have been passed on to ppl. who preordered....which involves charging those ppl....then it will take some time to download it...maybe even longer than expected due to server capacity...oh well I guess it'll be somewhere around monday night when I'll be able to play...still better than waiting till tuesday or later.
Interesting, when I launch the game it tells me a huge update is available, it then takes me to Impulse but no update is available.....
This has been the case for a few days now. I did see a 580-odd update at first, but Impulse told me my 'registeration is invalid', so I think it was just when they where setting everything up ready to go.
It's torture I tell you, knowing you are on your way out on a family day with the wife and child (state fair), and yet I yearn to get the download going. Lol Murphey's Law says that when I leave for the fair it will become available. I'll try and do everyone a favor and get going early (because I am watching the pot for a boil right?)!!!

Well, I've just received a "pre-order" email from Stardock (which is odd because I've already pre-ordered it / taken part in the beta but anway) which, I guess, means that somebody at Stardock is awake .
