Ok so its called heroes of might and magic kingdoms.
Its a browser game MMO where you build cities and armies and form alliances.
Ive played a few others but this one offers heroes with levels and you customize jobs and there is an economy too.
In fact to win your alliance has to dominate in 3 categories Wealth, Honor (fighting XP), and Domination (owning land).
Ive been playing it like 7 days non stop. I setup 3 different accounts to play. Recommend it.
A couple questions:
I might have to try this.
I was invited to the online beta for this months ago. I went through the process of registering and all that and downloading the client but I never had time to play it. If it's any good let us know. HoMM was a decent game back in it's time.
Ok wait edited:
I was like WTF you guys talking about.
I meant: Might and Magic: Heroes Kingdoms
Appears HOMM online is a totally different game.
This other game Kingdoms is run by Ubi, and is free, and has no client installation. Its a browser game. Create an account and each account gets 2 servers.
Wayyyy better than Ultima Online
Heroes customization is pretty big. You hire from a tavern. There are attack, defense, and magic traits. But each hero has different limits like 60/60/0 or 30/60/30 basically they all equal 120. Also each hero gains their stats differently. Some start slow but then go fast after level 10 or some are opposite.
I think there are 12 classes to choose from, and each hero can speacilize in 3 classes. And from each class it breaks down into another 4 speacilities.
There are resource seasons, where sometimes resources are cheaper or more expensive to sell on the market.
Pillaging, sieging, spying. Hurray.
Blasphemy! Thou shall not speak ill of Ultima Online!
NO GAME HAS EVER SURPASSED ULTIMA ONLINE.
Castrated HoMM ? I pass.
It's just a Travian clone and doesn't even have tactical battles.
Yes, smells Travian to me. Done that.
It has a bit more tactical battles than Travian At least you can choose which unit should fight against what (prior to sending the troops).
And I think Groove was refering to Lords of Ultima and not Ultima online.
I have tested both 'new generation' browser games and to be honest, Lords of Ultima has nothing to do anymore with the famous franchise and M&MHK plays mor nicely but takes way to long until something is achieved. I tested alot of different BBG, but I now stick again to the traditional games Mostly I would prefer E:WoM PPEM
dammit ya i messed up the titles again.
I meant Lords of Ultima.
Easy deduction since i was talking about browser games.
I wouldnt consider it a Travian clone at all. Its a Travian type of game, but not a clone.
Might & Magic Heroes Online is an upcoming browser-based MMORTS from Ubisoft’s Blue Byte, which also makes The Settlers Online, Silent Hunter online, and Anno Online.
using old good HOMM name
