The fact that our government officials spend their time and our money doing such frivolous crap is ludicrous. But it is kinda funny in it's ridiculousness.

Yeah, it's terrible that someone spent two minutes signing a meaningless proclamation to show support for a local company that brings in large quantities of tax revenue.

You know nothing involving the government works that efficiently . Seeing as it's Civ V day, a game that hasn't come out, instead of a homage to the series I'd say somebody's advertising budget was at work anyways. So the state probably did come out ahead on this one.
