I'm playing an immense map with nine challenging AI players, and about 40-60 total planets.
I find that I can get at least a trillion credits (1000bc) every 4 turns, allowing me to maintain close to 100% approval, while at full social and military production. After about a game year, using influence to buy up any AI civ's credits and fighters and techs, I tend to dominate.
The thing is, I feel dirty. Am I exploiting the game code (cheating), or am I just exploiting the enemy (winning)?
TA, DA, or DL?
What difficulty level?
I was able to make such trades frequently before I got up to Suicidal in DA, but no longer. I still try, sometimes, hoping.
TA Challenging
TA does have a hole in the diplomacy regarding that, but it is really up to how you feel personally whether it's an exploit or not. In a single player game there's no one to cheat but yourself.
