In earlier versions of Windowblinds there was a classic mac theme that looked like the versions before OSX. Actually, come to think of it, there was also a classic mac Objectbar skin too with the same bar look as well as that control strip. I would love both, but I really want to find that Windowblinds skin for it and that's why I'm here. Anybody know I place I can find it, and maybe both? I've looked everywhere but I can't find any trace of it. You search Mac and all you find is Mac OSX stuff.
If you are referring to Leo, it is no longer included with WindowBlinds, having been replaced by Sabertooth. Fire off an e-mail to support requesting it and I believe they can hook you up with Leo.
It would be nice if it was placed in the gallery here at WC but that is up to SD to decide.
I'm referring to the one that looked like this: http://ls.berkeley.edu/lscr/advice/using/mac-os-x/macos-desktop.JPG
Well, nobody can do it better than yourself right? Probably wrong in my case. But if no one else can do it and Stardock can't get it to me, I mind as well make it myself. Which is just what I did! https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/7207/
Now that's the skinning spirit! Congrats on your blind getting into the galleries.
Thanks! This was my first time using skin studio, so it was definitely a learning experience. I think I'm getting the hang of it though for the most part.
I read your skin description and I can help you with your title bar text issue.
You need to add a titlebar caption text background (a solid block the same color as the titlebar would do it). You'll find that in the same section as the per pixel frames. If your skin only uses the UIS2 frames, you can do the same (called text background in that section)
Hey, thanks for the input. I actually did try that. The problem is that it did nothing. I even tried using other pictures that would easily stick out, but it just doesn't show anything under the text. I'm using the UIS2 frames and I just put a solid block like you told me. In fact, I even had this idea before. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it doesn't show anything.
Go to the UIS2 frames section and look under 'borders'. Under that you will see the 'extra settings' tab. Choose that and scroll down to the one that says "Turn on Text Background Section"...enable that and your text background will work.
Alright, I got it to work. Thanks a lot for the help. The skin was taken down though because I don't have proper permission from the original creator. Sorry for that on my part. I'm asking for permission from him right now. This is how it turned out. Took awhile to make it perfect.
Sorry for the double post here. The skin has been re-uploaded as I have proper written permission from the original creator of the msstyle that was imported for it. https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/windowblinds/7209/
