Some people use this line to justify their bad decisions during gameplay.
I'm not talking about your average players that try to win, no. I'm talking about those over-100-games-mid-players-that-can't-get-pass-the-50%-win-thereshold kind of guy.
Okay, I know it's true, but does it kinda annoy you to hear this? It's worse than someone who trash talk you.
I simply can't stand someone arguing with a statement that it's purely fact with no reasoning whatsoever.
In my opinion, it's like saying: "ye but the sky is blue" or "Before you die, you are still alive, dude."
It's simply like playing a team game when your teammate doesn't even care or "try to" care about the game.
The "It's just a game" sounds like "Dude, I play the way I want, deal with it. Im not sorry for your loss."
And yes, Ninki wrote that line in his OMG post that I read, that's why I wrote this.
"It's just a game" = Demigod is not your life. You do not have to slit your wrist if you lose a game.
If you don't try, you can never fail!
It is just a game. Get over it.
Zoahr, I too enjoy an overall team effort, however that is why I play with regulars. Where there is Renz, I'm not to far away....Make friends, play with them, I find the game is incredibly more fun this way then pugging.
^ 2vs5
lol, I don't mind losing.
If you are noob, it's understable. I'd show you how to become stronger. Telling you imminent strat and you just have to do it.
If you are an unskilled 15-years old tomboy, then you gonna trash talk me and I am willing to get a lose on your behalf by laughing and saying: You do have some bad temper. And you end up in my noob list. That's it.
If you are a newcomer, then I don't mind getting a lose to show you how to play.
But damn. Don't tell me it's just a game. It just means that you don't care. That sentence means you have no spirit at all, in ANYTHING.
It's just a game.
It's just a coicidence.
It's just life, you know.
Lack of spirit means you fail. In everything. Period. 2x.
THIS IS DEMIGOD!
I find most funny, people who are so obsessed with winning that they win when they actually lose a game. Thats why I like playing games with players like criag and teseer; they are more like me. A laid back player who just wins or just loses, their will be more games in the future.
First: I never say 'It's just a game.' I play every game as best I can all the time
Second: I'm not a super-pro and can make mistakes. I have bad games with my best DGs. And sometimes I want to play someone that I'm not very good with, just for fun.
Third: If I make a mistake and get a flurry of "OMG YOU'RE THE WORST FUCKING PLAYER EVER" and "Well this game is over" and "Sorry, I got noobs on my team" etc, my desire to play and win goes to zero. People need to get over themselves. If I get a nasty message because I'm not managing the monk I've attached to you with split second precision, don't expect to get another monk. I'd rather just lose the game and move on, because at that point, I'm more concerned about playing a game that I enjoy then listening to your crap.
Bottom line, if you want to win, I'm a great teammate. If you *need* to win, then I'm a terrible teammate.

YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
"Play a general" is my response. Though I do get that thrown back at me from time to time, though it's uncommon for me to play Assassins since the only Assassins I enjoy playing are TB, DA and UB and I'm not the best TB and someone else usually plays UB so. And DA is useless so can't play him ._.
I hate splitting monks with a passion, I really do.
I'm not Korean and I don't want to play zoomed out.
I would of thought that you of all people would play zoomed in
I play moderately zoomed out, but to continuously micro my monk I have to zoom out so far that battles are kind of confusing on my side. So what I end up doing is zooming in and out constantly, but my monks still die from time to time.
Zoom in Zoom out Zoom in Zoom out Motion sickness Zoom in Feeling real sick Zoom out Throw up
that's why I started playing a general. Christ people suck @ monk control.. like.. really, really, really badly. Why do you play a general if you cannot play a general? The best tho is when people have no idea how to play zikurat, and they just watch as the monk dies as soon as they send one over or summon them. Even after being told how to prevent this they continue to do it lol. Winnnarrs
Truisms are typically rejected in logical argument. There is no way to counter a truism effectively and there is no real gain to the conversation when someone says it to you. All the same, there really isn't room for logical debate in a team game. I don't think anyone joined the game so they could be told "you did X wrong and I now expect your existence to be less worthwhile because you let down your team".
I'm struggling to pass the 50% mark so maybe I'm one of those people. My problem is that with how many games I have, I'd have to win 19 games in a row. Typically when I play I would have to stack to guarantee a win. I hate stackers more than anything else. In the end, I think I hate them because they fail to realize that this is a game, and that the percentages mean less than having fun. And you can in fact have fun if you are losing or God forbid, lose.
if you play against "fitting" enemys you end up around 50%... 45 or 55, i realy don´t care. you just gained karma pfizzy...
Wait what made you think i always play zoomed in?
Probably because titties! Look at your display pic, you play a lot of queen don't you?
