IIRC I was buying armor for a progeny in the store, while standing outside a town inside my borders. As my army moved off 'phantoms' of the chars stayed there in that spot. Clicking on them didn't bring them up, they were still in my army and could be accessed normally, but phantoms remained. Quitting and reloading showed no phantoms, until I equipt/equipted items on all chars (not just the ones I bought items for) except my Sov -- then the phantoms reappeared in that same spot.
Using the save below, there are no phantoms. Select a champion or progeny, equip/unequip an item and you'll see the phantom appear in the square above and to the left of the army.

same, quite often get this glitch, usually after combining/splitting units...
Same after I equipped an NPC with a sword from my own items the Sovereign had. The NPC image stayed on the map, even the cloth map, but the NPC was ijn my party.
Additionally, I have seen monsters become invisible. I was moving a fasting moving troop through clear area and wound up getting wiped out by a stone golem that I couldn't see off my border. Afterward I still couldn't see it, but when my mouse went over the tile I got the crossed swords and info box.
I had the same problem, happened after 3 of my units were killed by a Bone Oger! Also had me distribute points like they leveled up after the fight, but they were dead!
- Happens to me all the time. My soliders and various other units that are stationed in a city seem to randomly attach themselves to to any unit that I move adjacent to a city, I think they just get a little lonely.
- There also seems to be the case of an invisible milkman running around the map. My wife was nowhere near me and for some reason I keep having children. I will catch the turd eventually
