I started playing Demigod recently, but im frustrated playing again Oculus. I can just hack away at him with almost any DG and he doesn't die. Does he have a specific weakness i can use to my advantage in game?

One thing a lot of folks don't seem to realize about him is, his Blast Off ability does damage where it takes off and where it lands... so, if you see an Occulus floating towards you be careful!
Also Occ is a money hog... the typical Vlemish/Plenor combo just ain't enough to spam his abilities so you really need to save up for a Hungarlings Crown or Magus Rod to really make him worthwhile IMO. So keep in mind that he may seem overly effective to you because you're going up against guys who aren't really helping their team out with citadel upgrades as much.
Sounds like you're a beginner and a well played Occ is a noob killin machine for sure so just realize that with a Blood Of THe Fallen Occ you are rarely out of range of some serious hurt because of Chain Lightnings potential range and Blast Off's chasing ability... with a Cloak Of Night Occ its far scarier cause he can blink on you then Blast Off. A good Occ player won't even bother with auto attacking you after you start running... he'll just keep pace with you to do another double jump.
First of all as a beginner you need to play one of the three best Demigods: Unclean Beast, Erebus, or Oak. These three don't really have any weaknesses while demigods like Occulus, though very effective in certain situations, do. Second of all, play one of the best three Demigods till you get better... these are Unclean Beast, Erebus, and Oak. Playing one of these three Demigods will make the game a lot more enjoyable for you as you learn the ropes... and your teamates! Third of all, try playing one of the three best...

Is this the build you are referring to, Thundercles? If so, it looks similar to Teseer's, but I still think I like his better. I am interested in seeing any revisions/suggestions you might have as well.

Logfloater, that build was mainly as a counter to a minion Erebus and I believe it was posted before the fix to TB's autoattack was finally patched. Now that you can chase and finish in fire mode, I like fire aura a lot more... plus I thought that Cold Aura's debuffs maxxed out at 10% but its actually 7% so its really only worthwhile if you're not using BotS.
Anyway, I don't really have a set build... I almost always go hybrid BotS and always max out RoI when I do but thats about the only constant. More AoE if I'm facing minions... more frost nova if I'm facing a rook... more fireball if I'm facing a reg... more fire aura if I'm facing a beast... etc. Thats the beauty of TB: you can really mix things up depending on who's on your team and who's your enemies. Just between you and me, Teseers build would work really well for a lot of situations and I imagine especially against an Occ, but I refuse to admit it in public cause he'll get all high maka maka... plus his build is not noob friendly and a beginner was who originally posted this question, though he probably quit playing Demigod by now.

There's an easy counter but I can't share it at the moment.
Fireball.
Queen of Thorns plus Erebus. Massive armor debuff and subsequent slaughter.
Just need to take advantage of his mana issues he has early on. He seems scary with his nukes, but he goes through mana WAY too fast.
Pff the counter to that counter is a piece of cake, but I can't share it either ^^
You just have to go underneath him and AA the poor guy until he's dead. He won't be able to attack you

Too bad no one else can use it quite like he can. I love that item with ever fiber of my soul.
