Is there a Sins of a Solar Empire nove coming. I would love to see it thank you

No word on any official novels, but plenty of fan-fic.
I wonder if the Sins lore is developed enough to where you would need a license to publish a novel about it. I suppose that you would if you were going to call the races the TEC, the Advent, and the Vasari and adapt what little official lore there is.
I'm thinkng that the Novel would have all the back ground information that the game lacks on the events leading to the war. What is happens to the diffrent groups more of the history ect...
Licensed novels always take some creative liberties where the facts are either ambiguous or unknown in the presently existing canon. Basically anyone attempting a formal novel would be doing exactly what the fan-fics are doing right now: building on what we know and making educated guesses about what we don't.
That said, part of what makes Sins wonderful and refreshing is the very fact that so much is left to the player's imagination to fill in the blanks about what's going on.

It was a dark and stormy night...
And it was the advent of a new age. The techs struggled to quantify the new philosophies while the old alien leader, Va, sat upon his space pony and looked on the humans with pity and regret---only able to mutter, sari in his broken English. In the end, all of them were all killed or taken captive by pirates and then sold to the independent planets as forced-conscript militia...or kept in the dark reaver slave pens for use as breeding stock and for eye patch production.
Thus ended the new age and ushered in the time of the the ancient destroyers of the once entrenched and now fleeing alien empire...the dreaded blue smurfs--with whom there could be no diplomacy and who delighted only in pure sins.
This is my story and I am sticking to it. The End.
