At risk of sounding incredibly cheap, could I ask why Blissful Dream is $9 guys?
I'm from South Africa, that translates to almost R100. You guys don't have specials occasionally?
A lot of effort and time goes into the creation of skins and it is only the Master skins for which you have to pay for and according to me, the quality of the Master skins can't be challenged, they are awesome !! And yeah, even if the Blissful dream was 19$, I would have bought it, its my favorite since i've seen it . I believe for specials, you can checkout Impulse weekend buys where you get a discount over actual price of the programs OR if you are looking for free dreams, then you can find many nice ones at the dream gallery.
Its more a matter of your countries currency not converting well to all other countries currencies in the world, the Rand buys lots within South Africa but not much outside - we would like that amount of money $9 to buy the amount of beer it does there at R6 to R18 each or close to 12 Big Macs you get there but then the Pretoria Nelspruit toll is close to R50 so the dream is only 2 tolls too. How many pay dreams are there? about 10, how many free ones? more in the region of thousands.
Ausvet you know my country well!!! Now I hope thtose comments have nothing to do with the recent Tri Nations and home and away cricket series now mate
I guess you guys are right but it's quite expensive. I'll plumb for it next month, after payday.
Your opinion though please, which premium dreams do you guys rate the best?
It isn't about which ones we think are 'best', because there simply is no such thing...I love Ausvet's and Carsguy1's work...as well as Amitsaran's...and Muckyman's.
Each artist has his/her unique vision...it's about which one you enjoy at any given time...and that changes...it's what Customization is all about.
I hope you enjoy the site and contribute to it.

Hi DrJBHL
I've actually been a member of this site ever since I got Windows Vista for my birthday in 2008. Dreams were one of the very first of the Vista features I wanted to see running. Running Windows 7 now for 3 weeks and I'm loving it!!!
Contributions from my side might be scant as I'm in no way or shape as talented or capable as the folks who create all these Dreams I have on my PC.
Thanks for the welcome though
One thing to note... with DeskSccapes 3, the trigger portion of triggered dreams, like Blissful Dream, do not change at the designated time.
Hi Carguy
So basically the dream won't change according to the time? Oh no
Rugby - I care not as I am Victorian so AFL rules supreme though I do not mind how often you beat the Kiwis, currently I can always follow the Irish in rugby purely for politeness, cricket is fine we are just rebuilding after 15 years dominance besides you won in Oz and we won in SA in the Tests, and we won the last 2 big world 50 Over events leaving out T20 which belongs to India temporarily. I have worked in SA for 2 lots of 2 years - the first time was to see the kings of cricket Graeme and Peter Pollock, Barry Richards and Mike Proctor as at the time I could not otherwise see them as I did not want to see them in the English League. All the master dreams are good depends what type you want - I like the space ones best but each to their own. Mmmmm cane .....lekker and Amarula too and the Durban cocktail Steelworks lime, ginger ale, kola tonic and cane is heaven and boerewors on the braai and all the Indian cuisine in Durban too.
Those guys are definitely all legends but I bow to the supremacy of Sir Donald Bradman. Without peer in any era!
I've definitely put away a good few braai platters in my time but I've never drank in my life. Nothing religious or anything deep, just a personal decision
I love the space Dreams myself or anything fantastical. I downloaded most of Master Baron's but he seems rather scarce of late.
I will buy the Blissful Dream next payday, it's the one I would love to own.
P.S. I'm from Cape Town so I haven't been through many toll roads in my time
btw what are dreams ?
Correct.... but you can go to the extracted dreams directory and copy or move the 3 mpegs from there to your installed dreams directory, so you can choose them individually.
Now now Amitsaran, treat the so called noobz nice please
So extract with 7Zip or how CarGuy1?
When you play the dream the videos are extracted into a temp directory.
I believe it's c:\programdata\stardock\deskscapes\extracteddata.
Be sure to turn on "show hidden files & folders" to view them.
Thanks CarGuy1
