Matrix Games and Code Force (www.codeforce.co.nz) are thrilled to announce that they have reached a publishing agreement for Distant Worlds, a vast real-time 4X space strategy game sporting massive galaxies and limitless possibilities!
Great I am looking forward to this game. I hope it will be better than Armada 2526. The details are still a bit vague though (how much will it be like a 4x and how does it differ from Galciv2?). Any details on the release date or the possibility of a demo?
Wow. First Armada 2526 (which I enjoyed) came out late last year, and now this! I love all these 4x games coming out in such close succession.
No mention of a specific release date yet, but the word is that they're "close". Knowing how Matrix usually does things, I'd hazard a guess that that means it will be out in the next couple months or so.
As for a demo, I would very much doubt it. For various reasons, Matrix almost never does demos for their games.

Keep my eyes on this one. Macro level seems like Moo3, except you play a more active role out among the stars.
Are there different playable species? Couldn't tell.
Hmm.. This game is looking very interesting. I might even buy this direct instead of waiting for Impulse.
