After a long wait for my dream bike, and lots of hard work on the annual closing at my office
i've finally managed to purchase this new motorcycle.
I still remember my college days when I used to request my dad for a new bike and would
always get the same reply - "on your next birthday, son"
Well, he's the second happiest man on earth seeing me riding it in all glory.
All I can say is "Its fun riding it and now im a proud owner of this new bike"

Congrats Amit. Nice looking motorcycle.
Be sure to buy a good helmet and look into buying a set of safety/crash bars for it just in case you have to lay it down. I've been riding for 35 years and the one thing I've learned to be true, you can never be too safe.

Dude! If I were a believing woman, I would say I would pray for you, but since I'm not, all I'm going to say is cogratulations and I bow to your glory! (Be careful for cars....they really don't hear those crotch rockets like they do Hogs).

Also a greater thanks for the concern on my safety, though im still using the same old helmet which I used on
my scooter but now im surely gonna buy a good one as soon as possible.
And yeah, I totally agree with k10w3 on being careful for cars as it was a narrow escape for one of my friends
in the last evening.
Mike, could you tell me in detail what are "safety/crash bars" ?

Niiiiice bike!! You cant go wrong with black and chrome, it's beautiful!
Crash bars are designed to protect your engine cylenders and your legs in case you have to lay the bike down on it's side.
Here's what they look like...this is just one style, they make several different types.

Mike, I got it, actually I was confused as we call it "leg-guard" here.
It was fixed onto the bike with all the other accesories like seat cover, rear view mirrors and the side guard.

My 'dream' bike....dreamed it up....and built it.....
Not allowed one with a motor....do to much damage without it....
I like bikes but can no longer ride due to arthritis and bad bones from a bad bike accident some years ago... so all I can do now is admire them.
However, that's a nice looking machine you've got there... and be sure to always wear a helmet and ride safely.

Its a 150cc but still quite a fast one for the kinda roads n traffic here in my town !!
Before my Honda 750 I had a Suzuki TS100 that'd do 85mph and get me speeding tickets (yeah, it wos the bike's fault)... so your 150cc would be faster than that... and more than fast enough.
Just be darned careful... OK! Its's 35 years since my accident (some clown in a car ran me off the road), and I'm still suffering for it... arthritis, spinal issues and limited mobility, so be vigilant for the lunatics who think bike riders don't belong, etc.
Feel you're quite correct with the speed thing.....in the 5th top gear, it almost reaches 100mph and due to the weight of the bike, one would'nt even feel how fast he's moving.....though the top speed as per the user manual is 180mph but I can't even think of going beyond 100 due to the crazy speeding cars and the heavy SUV's passing by as jet planes.
Also after hearing bout your accident, im gonna be all the more careful !!
